a little something different but still sleepwear-I’m-wearing-as-clothes this is a 1970s moderately sheer floor length nightgown made to look like a Greek goddess style dress. there is extra fabric behind the shoulders so it flows when you walk. I took this one home for myself 🖤

A post-war floor length embroidered kimono. Also from Japan but made later (late 50s, early 60s) with a similar golden thread dragon motif down the back. This one’s neat because it’s deadstock (never worn). The kimono’s sash is still sewn within the sleeve. Within minutes of posting this kimono for the shop, it sold 🖤
