Dip

Care to join her for a swim?

Summer

The current season in the land down under.

Part of Your World

Probably the most iconic mermaid film debut 35 years ago in November 17, 1989 and with it we had probably the most prominent song composed by Alan Menken and performed by Jodi Benson.I can't quite remember when I first saw this film (probably saw it on VHS) but I do remember watching Disney on Ice The Little Mermaid back when its Asia-Pacific tour came to the Philippines and performed at the Araneta Coliseum in late 2002 (I would've been ...

Vanity

Do you reckon a mermaid's infatuation with their own appearance to be warranted?

Approach

You meet her gaze from across the room, and she has that come hither look in her eyes. Can you muster the courage to go up to her?

Hangout

They'd love for you to join them.

Tub

It's better than nothing, but a more spacious vessel may be more desired.=====Not as saucy as last week as I'm still adjusting to my new living situation and exhausting work schedule. I'll try to come up with something more exciting for the next one.

Berries

Blueberries dipped in honey are a delight.

Float

Don't leave your pool floaties unattended!

Guardian

They may seem to live carefree and idyllic lives but it falls to a few mermaids to stay vigilant and guard against threats to themselves and their loved ones.=====I was struggling to get through this one amidst burnout, as I started with the mermaid on the right first but then went through so many attempts and changes for the mermaid on the left for a look/pose that I could at least be satisfied with that I almost wanted to give up on this.

Sunbathe

Just a mermaid enjoying the last rays of summer sun (before swimming over to the southern hemisphere)

Waiting

For her next prey? A long lost lover? For you to make a move?

Keepsake

"You were a wonderful experience."Mermaids like to keep things from those that they cherished.

Books

What sort of books have these mermaids come upon?

Discord

It's been suggested to me that I should create a dedicated Discord server for my followers and supporters and to be better able to interact with you all, perhaps with some benefits or perks for Patreon supporters.Would that be something you'd all be interested in?

Follow

In the wide wild ocean small fishes oftentimes follow and swim alongside mermaids for safety.

Coffee

How do you like your coffee? In related news, I'm gonna be taking a class in "baristology"

Perch

Who's on who's perch though?=====Quick life update: I'm currently in Australia on a Working Holiday Visa, still trying to find a job and more semi longer term living arrangement than my current hostel shared bunkbed situation. I've brought along a laptop and a travel size graphic tablet so I can continue to draw. It's been tough living on my own but I've been trying to find a routine and recently been going to the state li...

Curl

Stuck

Mermaids may oftentimes find themselves stuck in places they could previously fit through easily, not realizing the change their body goes through as they mature.I've attached the jpg file and a timelapse I managed to record of the process.

Comb

What are your theories for why mermaids are often depicted combing their hair?

Bask

Mermaids can oftentimes be found on land basking in the morning sunlight before slipping back into the cool waters.======I occasionally make use of reference for when I draw my mermaids, and sometimes the models have a bit more junk in the trunk. As I showed in the previous post, there are some different options on deciding where the tail starts and how it forms (with a few more that I've seen by others elsewhere before). Ultimately whichever...

Which one?

It's for science.

Ashore

A mermaid that has washed ashore on a beach encounters an insistent crab with some modest offerings.

Refreshing

Nothing quite like arefreshing glass of lemonade during the summer. How do you stay cool during the summer? =====Sorry for the delay on this, the summer heat has been somewhat unbearable lately.

Intermingle

Just some casual interactions between mermaids.

Intimacy

They're roommates

MerMondays

I hope you enjoyed some of what I created in almost every day of MerMay, but I'm glad to be doing these on a weekly basis instead.Aside from trying to experiment with different style or theme, I also want to try and get Patreon supporters to help decide or choose what to draw (maybe for at least one of these on like the last week of the month?)

MerMay 2024 - 31

A bit late but finally done! In the previous two MerMays I had my SEAL Team 9 mermaids together and I figured I'd do that again.Thank you for your interest and continued support and I hope you didn't mind getting bombarded with nearly daily posts from me!

MerMay 2024 - 30

With the help of an artist friend who's far more knowledgeable about firearms I've updated the weapon that the SEAL Team 9 mermaids use, as seen with Drake here. Also it's been awhile since I shared a nude version:
