Lich Queen Jaina thumbnails
Based on the request sketch I did last month! I wanted to kind of plan out a painting for her a bit more, so I did some super quick thumbnails for the pose and overall layout.I think I'll be going with the top right thumbnail overall, and I'll try to work on it on/off over the course of the next week or so. ^.^
AoA Zine - Firelord / Monthly Stream Notification
WIP preview of my 'zine submission! I'll post a bit more about the zine and where to get it when its up for pre-order. :)Man, its looks SO bright on my main monitor - sorry guys! It's a bit more toned down when its printed. This is actually based a little off a screenshot I took when I first saw Ragnaros around 13 years ago. I've made it into a little raid scene, and there are a total of 39 characters (because there was always at l...
Etsy Updated + Doodles
I updated my Etsy last night with some new items! My keychain supplier is running a sale - so I'll be placing an order for more in the next day or so. Going to try and restock on some things. ^.^(I should have these up at some point soon as well, but I need to take better photos of them!)This month, I'm giving all my Patrons a coupon code as a thank you. Use HAPPYNEWYEAR2018 for 20% off till February 1st. :)(For those of you that are non ...
Happy New Year! January's Pin Club preview
Hey guys!I've previously shown this pin here on Patreon, so its no surprise. I'll hopefully be hearing back from my manufacturer in the next week or so as they're still in production. :)This pin is actually small, but its probably one of the more expensive pins I've produced so far! Due to the handle cut out, it raised the mold fee quite a bit. I'd still like to do a blue and pink variant of this at some point, so I'm aimi...
123017
Probably the last art in 2017 I'll post, but I've been trying to figure out how I wanted to draw her armor for a while now. Decided to go back to making it look more like the actual tier she wears in game. :) Sort of just a rough sketch of it with flat colors for now.I'm not really into RP, but I've always loved giving my characters a bit of a backstory. I'd love to do some mini comics at some point with her travels and such. ...
USPS postage changes
It appears that the USPS is changing the way International First Class mail is being handled, and I'll no longer be able to ship Patreon and Etsy packages Internationally on the cheap.http://blog.stamps.com/2017/12/26/important-usps-making-changes-first-class-mail-international-flats/This puts a huge dampening on my mail tiers, so I'm trying to think of a couple options to keep it "cheap".Currently, I eat the additional costs of i...
Art update
Currently working on this long overdue family portrait for Kathryn! (I'm so sorry its taken so long, augh) Its a bit of a work in progress - its been a very long time since I've had to draw real people! Hopefully I'm getting them right. ^.^I'm currently in the middle of making some office improvements - I went to ikea a few days ago to buy some new shelves and things for storage.. as well as a new table top since I wasn't happ...
Future Pins!
I'm trying to ramp up my stock in prep for 2018 conventions - here are a couple more pin ideas for the future. I'm not sure yet if these will show up in the Pin Club or not, as I'd really like to have people vote on pins instead of me just throwing whatever I want in there. :pFrom Top Left - Poring , Poporing (Ragnarok Online) Bottom Left - Isabelle (Animal Crossing), Kodama (Princess Mononoke)Also, thanks to those of you that stopped...
Druid Doodles - Twitch Stream tonight!
Been trying to figure out how I want to consistently draw my druid, which is fairly hard for me since I jump around in styles a bit. I previously played a tiny bit with a comic style for her and my priest, so I want to do a character sheet for both of them soon. :) (As well as figure out her armor a bit more.. fashion is not my strong suit.)I'm going to try my hardest to start a doodle stream tonight around 7-8pm EST! Hope you guys can join m...
Moira Chibi
I feel I had to rush this a bit, so I'm probably going to go back when I have a bit more time soon and fix things. The art was done for a keychain, so I think the mistakes are going to be so tiny that most people won't notice them. ^^; I'll be sure to make some adjustments before I get any prints or stickers made of this one.I'm afraid I don't have a ton of art to show recently - a lot of it is work that may spoil a surprise. ...
Patreon changes! Moving forward for 2018. (Please read!)
Hey everyone!UPDATE: Patreon has decided to reverse the new fee system, hooray! I'll still be making some tier changes, but the following paragraph is no longer relevant. :)Recently, Patreon has decided to change the processing fees and charge you, the patron, a flat fee for each pledge. Instead of me eating the fees each month (which is about 10-11% per month for me) I'll now be paying a flat 5% fee. This gives me about $50 more per mont...
November Rewards!
Digital rewards should be sent out later tonight or tomorrow morning, with physical rewards being shipped out tomorrow as well. <3 Thanks for all your patience! Also looks like I'll try to setup a stream on Sunday night (12/3) around 7-8pm EST. :) I'll try to do a few requests and answer questions for you guys. <3
New enamel pins preview!
Aiming to get these made in January, which will be a part of the new pin tier. :)
Art update : November
Sorry for the lack of posts recently! As some of you know, I've been hard at work getting the Kickstarter out. I was able to ship everything out a few days ago, and this weekend I'm working on my mini backlog of art.Unfortunately a couple things are gifts and I'd rather not spoil the surprise yet - so here's just a mini Sketch dump of things that have been sitting on my computer for the past few weeks.I've got some major updat...
What day/time should I stream?
I should be starting my monthly livestreams next month! What day or time works best for you guys?
Back from Blizzcon!
It's been about a week since I've attempted to draw anything, so this is my mini attempt at a warmup. This took about 5-10 minutes in Sai. (I'm so excited for Jaina you guys)I had a much needed vacation during Blizzcon, though I still technically had to work last Thursday and Friday vending at parties. :)Thanks so much for all of you that came out to see me, It was so wonderful getting to meet some new faces and see some old ones too....
Sketches and WIPs + October Digital Rewards
Apologies for the radio silence lately! I've been hard at work trying to get all my Blizzcon prep done. Before last night, I haven't even drawn anything on my computer in over a week. x_xI played around in Photoshop last night in a fit of insomnia and tested some different brush settings. I'm really loving the inclusion of all the Kyle brush packs in CC 2018, since I was missing a few of them and hadn't gotten around to buying the...
Patreon Print giveaway!!
First off, thank you guys so much! In the past week so many of you have joined, I'm so thankful and a tiny bit overwhelmed (with joy). ^^; My most recent goal was to hit 75 Patreons, and that means we've unlocked the monthly stream and a print giveaway! In the coming weeks I'll set up a poll for streaming times, it'll most likely be in the evening during a weekend. Something like the first Friday or Saturday of every month? I'm...
New pin product photos! <3
I got a chance to use my new light tent setup and I'm super happy with it! After Blizzcon, I'm going to overhaul my Etsy listing photos a bit and take some new shots to make everything look clean and consistent. The Ysera and and Succubus head pins arrived today, and I'll be debuting them at Con Before the Storm the night before Blizzcon. :> (The green succubus won't be for sale, though I'll have a couple with me for display pu...
Pet Sketches #5-7
Well, 2 pets and one Spirit Healer! I'll be transferring these over to watercolor paper soon and starting to paint them all next week. :)
Pin update!
My manufacturer just sent me a photo of the pins! :> (his photos are never that great.. sorry guys! at least its something. haha)The purple succubus head and Ysera will be for sale at Con Before the Storm at Blizzcon.*Spoilers* The green succubus head will be included in Patreon Boxes as a special Patreon-only exclusive pin for November. :) I know the Patreon boxes are limited, so there will be a way for the rest of you to get one! So stay tuned,...
Mei + iceblock version & Sombra chibis!
These were really fun and relaxing to do. Such a nice break after badges and all that rendering! Like the Winged Victory Mercy, these will be stickers and possibly keychains in the future. I'd like to do a few more characters/skins and be able to place an order sometime in December or January.I'm going to space out the prints and stickers from these two over the next couple months though, mostly because I've already surpassed my stick...
Winged Victory Mercy
Guilty Pleasure : Drawing really cute anime style stuff.Planning to get to Sombra and Mei soon as well! These will be stickers and hopefully keychains in the future. :)
Winged Victory Mercy Sketch
I've been meaning to do this for a while (and it was requested by Andrea!) So in a fit of insomnia last night I decided to finally sketch it out and get the lines done. :)I'd like to turn her into a keychain eventually (and stickers of course!)Speaking of stickers, once I get back from Blizzcon, I'm going to try and liquidate my sticker stock and retire a lot of the old designs. I'll give you guys a heads up of what I have in stoc...
Group 2 badges!
One more from this batch that isn't done, but its not a physical badge and I'll be working on it soon. :) Hopefully these will be going to the printer in the next couple days and I can get them shipped by the 16th!I might have mentioned this before, but I think this is the last year I'll officially be doing badges. Next year I think I just want to try and keep commissions open more and people will have the option of getting a portrait...
Battle Pet Watercolors
I took a break from digital work the other day and painted these finally! I think my scanner killed them a little, so I tried to fix them up a tad in Photoshop. (I might go back and fix Argi since he's a tad too saturated, whoops!)I also got some custom mat boards made, since its pretty hard to find ones that would fit the 6x6" size of these. They look really nice all packaged up and I'm really happy about them. :> Hopefully I can get...
Blizzcon badge WIP updates
Moving forward! I've got just 2 more to do, though one doesn't require a physical badge. I think I'll be able to hit my deadline just in time. :)
Pet sketch #4 : Faerie Dragon
Those wings are going to be the death of me.
Pet Sketch #3: Val'kyr
..though I'm not sure if this one will be a Sunborne or Unborn just yet!
WoW pet sketches!
A few days ago I asked on twitter what everyone's favorite WoW battle pets were. I got a lot of responses, so I'm happy to share with you guys what I'll be working on for the next month or so!I'll be making mini watercolor paintings! They'll be 6"x6" and I plan to sell the originals in person at CBTS and Etsy. I want to try to make them semi affordable (at least in terms of owning original art anyway)- probably around ...
