I was surprised by how easily this one came together since the character is pretty detailed! it really depends on the kind of details with pixel art. it also helps when the character's reference already has great shading colors on it haha.

used a recent ellie doodle as a lineless demo for a friend over screenshare and ended up finishing it, mostly playing around with the shading and her fur! it's funny how I can barely sketch while talking because it's too hard to focus, but talking takes just the right amount of attention for me to stop overthinking the rest of the process and go crazy with the coloring and shading haha.also some doodles of sabs and wyn being cute and snug...

finally finished this one!the pose was inspired by this painting I found while looking for dancing references, la tarantella by leon perrault-this piece turned out totally different to what I had in mind which was frustrating until it was almost finished and then I thought it turned out ok actually. trust the process... 💃

and here's all the pixel art I did for artfight and some timelapse videos!I experimented with a lineless style for a bunch of these which was fun! I've been moving towards using a little bit of lineless in my pixel art style where it'll save on space without compromising detail- after trying full lineless I think I prefer how the mix of styles looks in most cases.
