robot commission

Last of the character series. I should be able to get back to comic studies soon enough.

viw post Hippogriph commission from patreon

feb 9th

More calvin and hobbes study. The character almost fits

Concept

Not technically a comic style study, but an idea for a future composition that didn't quite work out. I'll have to revisit this again again someday.

Another price study

An interpretation of his style, though not a specific work of his.Blech. It feels dirty doing some of these things with anatomy, especially the wings.

Feb 3rd

Again here the characters just murder the composition. Gotta find a balance.

Feb 2nd.

Some Andy Price study today. Very expressive characters with less detail than you'd think half the time.

I'm going to be doing the february studies a day ahead of time for the patron folks, so that the dates better match when posted elsewhere. There's a lot in art that's as much about what is not present as what is present. Watterson study

Good news: my computer is alive. Apologies for the lack luster study here, but I wanted to get something out for the samurai twi january 31st deadline. The votes are in and a proper study month will begin February.

It also means I will be unable to work or show the work I have done as that hard drive is a bit wet at the m...

VOTING The future of samurai Twi

Until recently the above format was my idea for the future of samurai twi. Large scale fully rendered images that tell the story of a full chapter, with a bit of a short story going into detail to describe the events. Yesterday and today I have worked on this particular piece and, to be blunt, my heart hasn't been in it.You are my patrons, it is you who I owe these comics to and would disappoint by their continued delay. I would like your per...
