Full-Res of Commission: GrumpyVentrexian (I'm Still Here)
This image is 10MB! My new PC allowed me to paint bigger than I normally would be able to. The full image is 3500x6357 pixels! :D
Color WIPs for Commission: GrumpyVentrexian (I'm Still Here)
Here are the progress images for the piece! As always the first one is the color "scaffold" I always put together before painting.
Sketch WIP for Little Runt (Act Two) Teaser
Not much of a sketch, haha. That's why I made this a double post day. x3
Sketch/Colored WIP for Commission: TheBeasterPanda
Originally this had text, but it was removed later! Also the spin effect was a little different.
Little Runt (Act Two) Coming Soon!
I'll be working on it again and hopefully have a page out in the next 2-3 weeks! I may not be able to release the pages weekly at first due to other commitments going on, but once things settle out I should hopefully get back to posting a new page every Friday. :3
Art Preview (1-14-2020)
Whooooops, thought I had something ready to post today, but I didn't!I have a commission waiting for final approval, but for now, here's an art preview of something else that's in the works. It'll be one of the first things I'll be working on once my new computer is ready to be used. It's almost there - I mostly gotta move it and then connect all the things that need connecting. :3
Full-Res Versions for Commission: Omega Silvertip's Reference Sheet
The second image has the original colors of this character! This ref sheet was commissioned for the purpose of giving him a new color scheme, so the top one is canon.
Sketch WIP for Commission: Omega Silvertip's Reference Sheet
The second image was a first pass of the first pose, where he had a more determined look! This was dialed back to something more unsure and nervous.
Full-Res Versions of Commission: TibsThicktail
Clothed and unclothed versions!
Sketch/Flat Color WIPs for Commission: TibsThicktail
Tibs is a supporter here on Patreon! As you can tell, two versions were made. One with clothes, and one without. The glasses weren't added in the end because they obscured the eyes a bit too much with the darker lighting conditions.
Full-Res of Commission: Robinsky15
And here's the finished painting at full-size. Enjoy!Originally posted March of 2018.
Color WIPs for Commission: Robinsky15
Click the right arrow on the images to see the process. As you can tell by the first image, I originally planned for a sunset, but decided against it so the orange fur of the character would stand out more and be a stronger focal point. The more dreary, Bladerunner-esque setting was much more fitting, anyway.Originally posted March of 2018.
Sketch WIP of Commission: Robinsky15
I need to dive into an older post of mine to space things out a bit, since I've been slow on commissions due to my cat being ill, and don't have much new stuff to show at the moment.Originally posted March of 2018.
Full-Res of DTW Gulo Sketch
I did this sketch for him yesterday as a thanks for helping me out with some vet-related stuff - he's been a HUGE help. More to come!
Art Preview (01-05-2020)
I've been busy taking care of Taylor (and worrying when I'm not), so I haven't done a whole lot of art the past week. This art preview will have to be the post for today - sorry! This is from an upcoming reference sheet for Omegafolf.
Full-Res of Taylor Doodle
I accidentally drew this kind of small so I'm gonna do another post today to make up for it. Not really "full-res" lol.
Sketch/Flat Color WIP of Taylor Doodle
She's my awesome little kitty.
Full-Res for Commission: Lady Anubis's Expression Sheet
Here's the full-res! I've also included a transparent version. :3I really love how this expression sheet turned out - one of my favorites in a while!
Sketch WIPs for Commission: Lady Anubis's Expression Sheet
The first image is the first pass, the second image was with the headdress added!!
Summary of Art (2019)
And as is tradition, here is my summary of art for 2019. I posted approximately 211 art pieces this year - down from last year, but it's partly due to working on Little Runt most of the year. It was really hard choosing which pieces of art should represent which months. Making these summaries feels like I'm giving out awards to pieces of art, lol. Like which one is the best for various reasons. Use of color, character appeal, memorability...
THANK YOU! (Patreon Supporters for December 2019)
Thank you again!! And thank you to my new supporters: Backlash, Jacob, Jack Sheehy, Meikame, Cynra, Enadarxel, and Rece Wolfthorn! <3
Full-Res of Commission: Clause's Expression Sheet
I'll have the monthly thank you post up later tonight!
Sketch WIP for Commission: Clause's Expression Sheet
Here are the initial sketches for the stickers I made for PawsHaveClause. These also star one of my top supporters, Ezo/Wolf-Ezo! :D
Suggestion Box: Ice Fishing (Comic)
Rece Wolfthorn suggested I draw something winter-related, and specifically mentioned ice fishing... so I made a comic out of it! :3The suggest was taken from this post: https://www.patreon.com/posts/suggestion-box-32349101
Full-Res of Commission: Seed
There were two versions that were made! One with red, and one without. You guys get both!
Art Preview (12-29-2019)
One face from an upcoming expression sheet! I'm waiting for approval on it. :3 The design is (mostly) mine. The commissioner wanted a female Anubis character with that kind of headdress, and left the rest up to me. I'm pretty happy with how she turned out!
