Thumbnail Sketch WIP for Little Runt (Page 5)

Originally the seats were fold up seats like this! But I changed them to normal seats during the refining process. The reason was so that I needed to show Nes's parents didn't make it to the event, and the cards looked more natural sitting on a regular seat, rather than taped or stuck to the seat while folded up.

Full-Res Version of "Commission: Lionman141 (Ready to Pounce!)"

As it turns out, choosing a dusk lighting scheme for this image worked out to my benefit! Having it take place at this time of day eliminated the need for hard shadows, so the flat colors without shading actually turned out pretty natural looking! Had I chosen a midday look, I'm not sure if it would have looked as appealing due to the lack of hard shadows to show the strength of the sunlight. Consider this a tip for your own artwork. :3

Abandoned Shaded WIP for "Commission: Lionman141 (Ready to Pounce!)"

This partially shaded version exists because I had forgotten the commissioner had asked for no shading. Whoops! But at least Patreon exists, so I can show what this version looked like, even if it's in an unfinished state. :3 The lighting on Ryan turned out rather nice, but alas!

Sketch WIP for "Commission: Lionman141 (Ready to Pounce!)"

This entire sketch was done in blue due to the nature of the characters being in their environment. Alex in the foreground, Ryan in the midground, and background elements inbetween them. I was jumping back and forth drawing them and adding elements around them, so I did this all on one layer.
