On Borrowed Time: Chapter 7, Pages 27-31
I finally did it.... some buffer during the Monster House Marathon! So now I've got enough to get me through the rest of the event, and I just gotta say I have an overwhelming sense of pride having completed the marathon successfully for I guess technically the first time ever! It helps that I've gotten a lot more practice over the years at staying consistent with updates, so the process is easier than ever. To compare stats...- OBT's...

I'll keep tonight's description short since I gotta head to bed for an early shift tomorrow, but tl;dr is that I'm still working without buffer, very cool B) we're almost at the end of the MHM though, after which I hope to keep up the page-a-day pace so you guys can get some buffer for realsies!

Form Change!
Some more doodles from tonight! I very recently (literally tonight) decided to take away Dandi's perma-wings to give her something a little more temporary! Though she looks a little naked without them, hahaI meant to work more on OBT things tonight but then got bit by the dragon obsession bug instead. Such is the way!

WIP Wednesday #17
A special little sneak peek for this WIP Wednesday! Part of the reason I haven't worked on any pages lately.Anyway, this is the animatic for OBT's 2023 trailer! This animatic is a little wet and sloppy since the images I'm drawing for this are just stills, so precise timing on animation isn't really a necessity. At this time, I'm about halfway done with the trailer! Hoping I can get it done before the new year hahaMost of 2023...

November 2021 Backgrounds
November's background, featuring the Guildmaster planning some Definitely Normal Things at good ol Malachite Falls
October 2021 Backgrounds
Catching up on a few of these now, all the way from last year! My initial goal with these was to avoid reusing art used on postcards, but I do think some pieces genuinely look nice as backgrounds and I didn't want to limit myself to something arbitrary hahaSo here's the cover for Chapter 4, now made for desktop/phone background compatibility! To this day I still think it's my favorite cover. Desktop gets two different versions of this...
Backstage Pass #41
On this edition of Backstage Pass, I'll be talking about...The outline for Dielle's Wish! I had this formatted to post here forever, but I guess I never actually did? So you can see the drafts Dielle's Wish went through before what I eventually settled on for the final product!Like with other outlines, this will need to be viewed either off-site on Google Docs, or in the PDF attached to this post. You can find it here!I'll very sl...
On Borrowed Time: Chapter 7, Pages 5-6
more pages at last!! I've been sitting on the lineart for these for a few weeks now, folks keeping up with irl updates know that a big part of this delay was due to saving up for some medical procedures for our cat. we're halfway there with one procedure, so that's a plus! I'm hoping to get back into the swing of making pages, but we'll see how much energy I have after upcoming long workdaysSome cameos on these pages! For page...
WIP Wednesday #16
A day late because I had to go to bed early on Real Wednesday to do a double shift at work!Been using my long days at work lately to work on thumbnails during breaks- I'm finally close to finishing thumbnails for Chapter 7! I still have the lofty goal of finishing the chapter (or at least coming close) before the end of the year. Thumbnails are actually probably the hardest part of the process, so once I have those done it should be pretty sm...

The day of the expedition is quickly approaching, and despite Keaton's warning otherwise, the team is working harder than ever in hopes of being selected. But the further they push themselves, the higher the cost... Will the team strike the balance, or will they burn themselves out trying?wahoo, time for a new chapter! I'm playing around a bit with my rendering style for comics for this one, generally just trying to use a thinner lineart ...
WIP Wednesday #14
YAAAAAA finally finished up the first page of Chapter 7! I've been getting in the swing of a good working schedule for OBT, so I'm looking forward to having some pages for the Silver Rank+ patron very soon. Like with Chapter 6 I'll probably post the cover later since I usually make those after mulling over a few pages hahaFirst image is what I've completed/plan on working on later tonight. The second image is a comparison between ...
