Some Delays

Hey all, I apologize for delays in mailing out postcards for February and March. I currently have them ready to mail, but I'm going to wait for the arrival of April postcards (which I'm waiting until the 5th to order) before mailing them out. There might be a few more delays in content over the next few days, my dad passed a few days ago and there's been a lot of scrambling to work on funeral planning and financial decisions regarding...

time for a new episode of deal or no deal!sorry for taking so long to update, folks! I ran into more problems with my school's financial aid office since one of the main people there quit recently, and the past few weeks have been stressful financially. updates will be hopefully coming more plentifully soon though! I also have almost finished rewriting chapter 1, and will be posting those by the start of May hopefully!

Trivia Tuesday 009

If you were to touch Malachi while he's glowing, you'd be greeted with a nasty static shock! Though a little painful, the electricity gathered up from his nervousness doesn't cause any long-lasting damage.

Trivia Tuesday 008

If you're close enough friends with him, Keaton will be happy to lend you a feather for a quill (though be sure to ask him before taking one)!

Speedpaint: Chapter 2, Page 21

Sped up process for Chapter 2, Page 21 of OBT! Estimated time was about 2 hours, which is one of my fastest times for a page!

Trivia Tuesday 007

Rune has a very small stature even for a Vulpix, coming in at around 1'06". This often causes people to mistake her for being much younger than she actually is.

On Borrowed Time: Chapter 2, Page 20

this page took a lot less time than I thought it would! It was pretty fun to do.

On Borrowed Time: Chapter 2, Page 19

oh. that's not great news. And that's it for the 5 page buffer for patrons under $20 for now! I have more pages in the backlog, so if you want to see those as they're completed instead of having to wait a week for each one, you can join that tier!

On Borrowed Time: Chapter 2, Page 18

Only Wigglytuff can get away with doing that to him, anyone else is gonna lose an eye!

pro-tip: don't lift a small dog by a single arm. she won't like it(and yes Chatot's name is Keaton. don't worry, you won't have to remember it for the test)

New Feature: Livestreams!

Hey all, I've finally set up private, patron-only livestreams thanks to hitting our $100 goal! At least twice a month, I will be setting up livestreams of future OBT pages and Patreon-exclusive content, which $5+ tiers will be able to view. I may also do requests during these streams, but it'll depend on my mood/workload.While I wanted to try setting it up so that they occur on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month, I have a couple of thin...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12rsVkwSsXUA palette challenge i did with Dielle! I technically cheated and went off of the palette by adding the dark background, but the contrast is a lot better with it.

On Borrowed Time: Chapter 2, Page 15

It beginsOver the next few days I'm going to be uploading some more pages for OBT, so look forward to that! Gonna get to a nice soft 5 page buffer before posting publicly again, though I'm aiming for 10 for the $20+ patrons if I can manage it!

Dark Pulse

Congrats! Rune learned Dark Pulse! For once I'm posting the art after the speedpaint because of some weird scheduling on my end, but here's some art of Rune! One of her signature moves later on in the comic is Dark Pulse, and I always like coming up with how moves are gonna look. This was a fun experiment!
