This week’s stuff
This week will be a production stream, a bunch of samples, a video on films and how they can inspire music, and a video on alternative approaches to writing a song, or rather a look at how I sometimes shake things up for myself!
10 Songs That Are Currently Inspiring Me
Here's a bit of a ramble about the importance of influence and love of music.
I have an idea.
I want to show you what inspires me in hopes that you can see how important loving art is. Tomorrow morning, I will post ten songs and ten films that are currently impacting my tastes and are actively in my life.
EXCLUSIVE STREAM STARTS IN 30 MINUTES
I will be streaming from 12pm - 2pm PST making MUST DIE! stuff.
David Lynch has passed away.
I sincerely don't know what to say. Nobody inspired me more than David Lynch. Whether it be in film, television, music, or text. Nobody brought me into the feeling more consistently and authentically than Mr. Lynch. Rest in peace.
Stream Thursday.
Streaming for Rat But Better tier on Thursday. Working on various projects and songs.
1 HOUR + OF PURE SOUND DESIGN
Recorded myself making....something out of nothing~! Hope it's useful. Just figured it could give you ideas or show music fans who aren't producers how i do stuff.

First private live stream
Hello everyone, happy new year. Tomorrow night at 8:30pm PST I’ll be live streaming a writing session completely transparently for MUST DIE! for my Rat But Better tier of members. The VOD will also only be available for those members. I’ll be starting my first song of 2025 and showing you exactly how I sketch core ideas.
making a basic rawstyle kick (sample included)
Here's a video of me making your everyday rawstyle kick from scratch. No talking in this one, as I was just trying to show how I would do it. Sample of finished kick included.
New Year
If 2024 taught me anything, it taught me patience. This entire year has been an exercise in making music for the sake of honoring my 16 year old self. I reconnected with my passion for unchecked output and removed all of the things that were keeping me trapped in both the expectations of others and my own expectations as well. I essentially relearned how to produce. I spent a lot of time talking with newer artists I admire and trusted tour-bonde...
making a weird snare from scratch (sample included)
Here's an unedited clip of me making a weird snare/percussive sound so you can see how experimentation yields cool results. included is the snare I made <3
First batch of samples.
I’m going to make some entirely from scratch samples and serum presets for the relaunch. These will be available to subscribers but for my special tier I’ll also record myself making them so you can see how I go about designing things without a song in mind. I’ll try and have these up either tomorrow or the day after. 🖤Anything in particular you’d like me to make in the future? I’m down for whatever.
First day back.
I'm relaunching this patreon with a more serious focus and specific scope. I will be making music transparently, and sharing things I make. Making samples that you can have and use in your own music, and sharing my workflow and giving advice that i find useful. This will allow me to rely less on the powers that be, and more on music lovers who have the same goals that I do. <3
