Coloring Coraline
So the first step is that I add the Lineart and the Painted Background, I place it around to where I think it looks correct. After that, I utilize Masks in order to make the image transparent except for the Lineart.I give it a solid color so that the image is easier to color, I use Clipping Masks and color on top of the solid color.These are my flats, the Flat Color that I do before shading and texture. Adding In Coraline
So when I add in a digital image, I still like to keep some of it traditional to blend my styles together well. In this instance, I first sketched out Coraline on a separate piece of paper roughly the size of what I made the tunnel.Then I created the lineart with my Tombow Fudenosuke Brush pen and Uni-Pin ink liner in 0.4.As you can see there's a lot of texture and it's still kind of off-white so I have to clean it up and make the lineart...
OCT Art Journal Printable
So the printable is attached, all you have to do is print it out, the preview image is just a sneak peak of the full thing <3Also I haven't done a printable in a long time and I wasn't able to do it at the beginning of the month so this is kind of a journal/art journal companion more so than a planner type of deal.

Now the Dogs series is done, I’ve figured out the way I personally like to stylize dogs and familiarized myself with the various shapes and ways dogs can be so I think I’m confident in designing dog characters now. This is also going in my portfolio for my character design work.
