Dev Diary #102 + Change log: v0.15.0.BASE/v0.16.0

Hello everyone! Now that the beta is out, I wanted to make this diary to be in touch with all of us as some things are going to change in the next public release. There are no spoilers, there are no new things to show, it's all explaining stuff I've been explaining in different diaries but I want to dedicate a whole post to the topic. This should be of interest to all of you, but anyway, in every public release from now on there will be a l...

Dev Diary #101

Summer is not over yet? Come on...Almost a month without any diary... and this one is going to be concise & short. I haven't done any diary during the last weeks not because I've been on holiday, in a cave or something, on the contrary, my day-to-day is trying to survive aka not being able to sleep until 6-7am, waking up late and being a zombie all day long... god bless the summer and my insomnia during this time of the year. Not that I&#3...

Dev Diary #100

No cringe intro, let's get to the point. Oh yeah, 100 DDs!For those who don't want to read the whole post, I'll mention what's important:After several recent events, I've decided not to delay the v0.16.0 anymore and I'm going to release it in a few weeks. My estimate is 5 weeks maximum, maybe sooner. I'm saying a somewhat distant date because I really want to finish revising the dialogues of the whole game + the rest o...

Dev Diary #99

This diary was planned for a few days ago but I wanted to wait a bit to have something to show apart from explaining other stuff. So let's get straight to it!The previous diary I did for patrons was too long so I kept explaining a bit about how I work with shadows, lighting, and all that for this one. It's something silly and simple (although at times somewhat tedious). It's also something silly to show, but I think it's interesti...

Dev Diary #98

Hellooooo! Several days without writing anything here, huh? I've been so focused on everything I've been working on that I almost forgot that today is the last v0.15.25 EA.The last one, yeah, that's why I'm writing this diary for all the patrons. Unfortunately, "2 days EA before public release" is not going to happen until v16, much to my regret. Why? Basically, because I don't have any public version ready and I won&#...

Dev Diary #97

I will start the diary with a short reminder about these "short versions":Actually, it is short only in terms of content as the work dedicated to each version is still 3-4 weeks. These releases work in a simple way: Instead of delaying a new release for everybody for X months, I decided to do it this way, where every month there is new content for all the patrons so they can see that I'm really working on everything I said I'm goi...

I swear by the gods that tomorrow I will start working on the images for this year's DDs.Well, well, well... what do we have here? Finally a diary exclusively for you.
