Sonic The Hedgehog Movie Review
Valentine's Day is a great day to go to the movies for a date and Sonic The Hedgehog was Valentine's 2020 movie of choice. I took #Empr3ss_Nile Sashaun Bailey and Valkyries Arcadia Hasari-uzumaki Uchiha-clan Mustafaa and Thia Dakin to go and check it out. Wayne Benjamin of The Lab Video Game TV was there to get a post-Sonic The Hedgehog Movie review from us and other viewers who were in attendance. The Lab Video Game TV covers more than j...
STEM Gaming Education is the Future!
I spent an entire week hitting up schools to see if I could schedule a class where I, Sashaun Bailey and Rasheeda Shaw can be substitute teachers for a classroom. I went to The Lab Video Game TV studio to do a feature on what video game for the #NintendoSwitch that I will use as proof of concept for how video games can advance the fundamental core of education in our grade schools for our next generation of students. Check out yet another brillia...
Empr3ss Nile Active Gaming Campaign
2020 it's time to make moves. I was at The Lab Video Game TV studio and gym with Wayne Benjamin for Empr3ss Nile's work out. She finally got to test out the Nintendo #RingFit for the Nintendo Switch. From what I saw in her work out, I can honestly say that the Ring Fit gives you a real work out. During her work out, Wayne Benjamin recorded it to make an introduction feature for her new fitness series in gaming that she'll be doing wit...
The Deadly Alliance
2019 has come and gone but looking back at some of the content that we captured Internationally has been one of the best things to happen for Empire Arcadia since the peak of the 2nd Dynasty. Wayne Benjamin of The Lab Video Game TV returns to the United States in Brooklyn New York to meet up with our Super Smash Bros. division, Deadly Alliance. He interviews them to cover the history, progress and future goals of our players. Check out this full ...
The Chronicles of Ghana 2: The Saga Continues
In 2018 Wayne Benjamin and I began our trip to #Ghana π¬π to help strengthen Africa's independent eSports infrastructure. We filmed all of our activities and created a featured documentary about it. A lot has happened since then, as we returned to Ghana in 2019 to continue that same mission. Just as in 2018, Wayne Benjamin of The Lab Video Game TV produced yet another documentary about our continued mission. Revisit the full journey with...
Return to my side my Noble Einherjar's
It is complete! The beach feature from Wayne Benjamin's The Lab Video Game TV is now out. This is the full feature for the For3v3r Summer lifestyle for our ladies in gaming that gives context to who the Valkyries Arcadia are and what we actually do. Empr3ss Nile made sure to convey a very important message concerning female gamers in the Valkyries of Arcadia. Whether here in #Jamaica or our sisters in the United States and on the Motherland, ...
Presenting Reggie Fils-Amie Induction into the IVGHOF
So much stuff happened in 2019 which was one of the main reasons we was away from our Patreon. I've been all over the place traveling from Jamaica, United States several times and then to Africa and back to Jam Rock. During all of the events, one of my most memorable moments outside of the resting of my Father was the recognition I got from Reggie Fils-Aime who's now the former President of Nintendo of America. Although I thanked him on t...
Coming Back From Africa
Thanks to the Empire Arcadia community Patron/Discord/YouTube and sponsors such as Doctor Battles, Hashtiv #EDU and the event sponsor Color Switch I was able to return to Africa to continue my work in eSports. Accompanied by Wayne Benjamin of The Lab Video Game TV who partners with me to cover all of my work while in Ghana. We're currently working on the full features for each of the activities and events we completed. In the meantime here...
We're Back! We're offering a BETTER Patreon!
In the summer of 2019 we suspended our Patreon as we headed to Africa to focus on our eSports Africa Campaign. Due to having so many projects on our table and content that has yet to be put out, we could not honestly continue to push the Patreon during that time. It's 2020 and now we have a small team of content creators to work with that can provide comprehensive content to all our Patreon supporters that help keep Empire Arcadia going. Now ...
For Maintenance
I'm currently travelling to Ghana in Africa for The Year of Return 2019 campaign. There is a lot of work I will be doing and do not have the spare time or resources to maintain our patreon at this time. Effective immediately, I'm suspending Empire Arcadia's Patreon until I return from Africa with my work.
Tetris 99 Feature
For 149 days at an average of about 16 to 20 hours per day! I've played Tetris99 to reach the end of a battle royale puzzle game that I was not sure had an end. Wayne Benjamin of The Lab Video Game TV covered my journey and made a feature of it as only Wayne Benjamin can do. This video features the trail I had to go through on my attempt to get my 10th Guinness World Record. Now most of you will find out why for a few months my facebook was s...
Empr3ss Nile and Lioness Sheeda
My up coming trip to Africa π¬π with Empr3ss Nile is more than just eSports, its about the technology used in video games that can also be used to educate people. We had lunch with a long time friend she grew up with, Rasheeda Shaw aka Lioness Sheeda. We spoke on a plan for how to use that technology and execute it in our campaign. https://youtu.be/fqhfw832A4k The potential is there we just have to work towards it. Here is Rasheeda on JNN...
The Year of Return 2019 Campaign: Building Blocks to Africa
Being the first player to reach level 99π in Tetris99, played an important role in my #YearofReturn2019 campaign to Africa. I've said this before and I'll say it again. It's not what you win but what you do with what you won that means something. The Building Blocks to Africa is still a work in progress and I'll all the help I can get to return to Africa next month. I want to give a special thanks to Walter Day for his timeless...
Tetris 99 ALL CLEAR: EMP TriForce Reaching Level 99 Star
Going into Thursday, I wondered to myself if I could pull off 36 hours "STRAIGHT" with no rest in between. It was necessary to be able to do it and catch my flight. I missed my plane but only by 19 minutes. Color Switch got my back though and re-booked me back to Jamaica on Saturday. I'm home now and looking back at it all, I'm just glad that I was able to accomplish the task. Thank you Walter Day, Guinness World Records, Tetris a...
Interview with Billy Mitchell on his 20th Anniversary
If your under 30 years old, then you most likely weren't able to witness the holy grail of gaming accomplishments. If you missed that then chances are you missed the 20th Anniversary last night! Don't worry though, because although I was grinding Tetris 99 last night, I still found the time while streaming to record history in the re-making as @BillyPacman <--- (twitter) repeated his World Record feat to become the first person in the wor...
Empr3ss Nile first Reggae Music Video
For the most part I always keep my profile strictly about video games. Although this topic is not necessarily about video games, the project that I've been working on with the Valkyries Arcadia here in Jamaica for a couple years now is about infusing Jamaican culture into gaming. This is why I've been pushingUbisoft's Just Dance with the Valkyries so hard. It would be great to see more Reggae / Dance Hall music in the next installment...
Empr3ss Nile host the Lab Video Game TV
I just cam back from California after being out there for a week to celebrateWalter Day 70th birthday with Color Switch and the retro gaming community. So much has happened I decided to take a couple of days off from work and stay off social media to spend some time with Empr3ss Nile. That plan went straight into the garbage because today we spent the day at Wayne Benjamin's studio as she auditioned to be the new host for his video game tv sh...
Knights of Arcadia in the Empire State
I've been waiting for this feature on our team! It interviews a lot of our current players from Phillip CA, SX EMP rogueyoshi, Antoine Lewis-Hall and AD Sanford Kelly. Unfortunately Sanford's file got corrupted and was not a part of this feature. πDespite that set back I'm in talks with Wayne Benjamin of The Lab Video Game TV about a future retake and may also include Lincoln Morris, Jeron Hiro Grayson and others who continue to re...
Empire Arcadia wins 1st FIFA Match in Ghana
Sunday, May 5th, 2018 was a historical day for Empire Arcadia. As some of you already know, we went to Ghana in Africa late last year to help build up the global Africa eSports infrastructure. I met a lot of gamers and recruited our first ever player that resides on the Motherland; Abdullah Flow Delly. We recently put out a video of him officially signing with the team and receiving a Walter Day eSports trading card. Well today he had an exhibiti...
Empire Arcadia acquires Ghana FIFA Champion
When I was in Ghana late last year I was pleasantly greeted with love by my people. I was welcomed into the fold to help build up eSports in Africa and expand it throughout the African Diaspora . During the Finals of the GGC Channel e-League Championships at KwesΓ© Gamer we signed our first FIFA player on the Motherland. His name is Abdullah Flow Delly "aka" Sulley and he's the 2018 FIFA e-League Champion. He now joins Orville Shannon...
Empr3ss Nile opens the Lab Video Game TV
It's been a while since I went out to a actual eSports tournament here in Jamaica. Island Sports Network in tandem with Dexton ESports Jamaica Graham hosted perhaps one of the most stacked FIFA tournaments in Jamaica. The event also featured Mortal Kombat 11 for casual matches. Wayne Benjamin from The Lab Video Game TV gave Empr3ss Nile a very rare opportunity. He wanted her to host the opening and closing of this coverage. She was all happy ...
Island Sports Network FIFA Tournament
Little by little the Jamaican eSport scene is starting to understand the power of "unity". Despite 30 + years in the making, the eSports scene globally is relatively still in it's infancy. It's only within the last 15 to 20 years it has gained significant mileage around the world. However there are still many locations; mainly Afro-centric Nation and the mainland of Africa itself, that needs to catch up to the modern age of eSport...
Exposing TriForce
So... this day finally came. The accusations finally caught up to me. It was only a matter of time. Wayne Benjamin of The Lab Video Game TV put my back to "The Wall" in this full length feature to address a lot of the ill things said about me and thw work I do through Empire Arcadia. I've spent almost 20 years of my life to build what I have today and there were a lot of obstacles I had to face. Many of the decisions I made, I now reg...
Tetris 99: 2nd Maximus Cup Final Game
Last weekend I had a lot of work to do and still do even now. However the power in the house were out for the whole Saturday. I had to head to Kingston to spend the night at Zalgo Cometh crib. I decided, might as well bring my Nintendo Switch with me and get some Tetris 99 games in. It just so happen to be the weekend of the Tetris 99 2nd Maximus Cup. With nothing to do but chill and play games, I decided to indulge. I had saved my last game of S...
Reviewing Day Time Live
April has been a very busy month for me. On top of that, the last video I put out on twitter, giving tribute to former President of Nintendo; Reggie Fils Aime, blew up my twitter when he responded with a thanks. So there were a lot of eyes on the video and that's always good. However, my work in gaming with Wayne Benjamin from The Lab Video Game TV is never over. We did a full behind the scene review of the Day Time Live interview I did on TV...
Reggie Fils Aime Farewell Tribute
Most people in life take inspiration from great leaders. For me, Reggie Fils Aime's is one of those leaders. His work with Nintendo of America spans for over a decade and commands acknowledgement and respect. The dedication he gave to the company and the passion he shared with the Nintendo Community are commendable feats that I truly respect about him. As I grow older, there are a lot of characteristics of him that I try to model myself after...
eSports Discussion on Day Time Live TV: Jamaica
The age old question continues... what is eSports? I was on TVJ's daytime LIVE and the question was asked yet again. I've given many descriptive answers. Some more elaborate than others. However, I've recently taken into consideration of just how new eSports is to the general public, despite it being around for such a long time. For the first time, I decided to simplify the explanation in a way everyone can understand. From there we d...
Empire Arcadia Players reply to the Score eSports
Last time I made a post regarding theScore esports I left a YouTube video that pretty much informed them about the mistake that they made, crediting me as the tournament organizer for the Video x Games eSports tournament in 2013. Some of you may be puzzled by that comment because you all know that I had nothing to do with the organization of the tournament or event in any way. Well, a player on my team, Empire Arcadia actually made his own video ...
Next Level Battle Circuit Promo
Last week, Wayne Benjamin of The Lab Video Game TV was in New York City at Next Level Arcade getting the real look inside the Fighting Game Community's local eSports scene. His interviews with long time veterans of Empire Arcadia such as Phillip CA "KDZ", AD Sanford Kelly "Santhrax", Antoine Lewis-Hall "Wes" and SX EMP rogueyoshi will give you a true in depth look at what it takes just to compete in the FGC. Here's...
