Panel 2 might be my favorite face I've drawn in a while.

Hold birb gentle, like ice cream

I, uh, didn't think I'd finish another page this soon.I'm very proud of panel 1 Creampuff though π¦

Not much to say here, but I'm very happy with this page :>

It feels REALLY weird to draw Al with a relatively neutral expression. He's usually so high-strung that these moments feel unnatural lol

Al in the 4th panel is me @ my adult responsibilities

Goddamn do I love using crates as filler in scenes

Drawing/writing this sort of character dynamic gives me strength π

I'm totally going to draw Al's uniform wrong sometime in the future. I can feel it ππ

My teaching gig finally came to an end, so now I have time to actually work on pages again aaaaaaa
Slow updates
Howdy all, sorry for the slow updates here on patreon dot com. I try to push out a new page here at least once a week, but I took up a 2-week teaching gig that's taking up more of my time than I anticipated. I figured since it was only 3 hours a day, I'd have ALL of the rest of the day to make comics, buuuuut it turns out there's also a significant amount of time doing cleanup, setup, and doing lesson plan stuff that I hadn't take...

Hey, remember last page when I said that the lack of backgrounds made it really fast to finish? This page was not that.(Patreon won't let me reschedule the dates that these pages were supposed to be released to the public, so now I get to do this manually aaaaaaa)
The call for reader cameos
HEY GUESS WHAT we're doing these again! I've got a scene coming up that needs to be populated, and I had a lot of fun including reader cameos last time, so I'mma do this again. If you'd like to be included, please read the following and drop your references in the link below!I'm looking for: Ordinary townsfolk Race: Human, elf Furry/anthro (esp. reptilian) is OK but they're a tiny minority so I can only take 1 or 2 of the...

this conspicuous lack of backgrounds was REALLY great for quick turnaround rates.

15 minutes into exposition and chill and he gives you this look:

Bob: "Geez, the difference between the way you draw women and the way you draw men is like night and day."Me: Ehhh I think that's a bit of a hyperb--oh god you're right

Trying to see if I can squeeze in more pages per week. If I avoid making the scenes as busy as they were in the Anthea building, it might be doable, but until I get a substantial backlog going, the main site's upload schedule will remain the same.I need to find more excuses to squeeze more foliage-dense scenes in this comic.

oh thank fuck this page was so easy to do after the previous six

It's gonna be a long chapter.
02_004
one of these days I'm gonna get back into a groove where I don't have to draw establishing panels so much and I can start pumping these out much faster lol

Last batch of cameos here! I really wish I could have included everyone who submitted a character design to cameo in the background of these pages, but various factors just didn't make that possible. I'd love to do more of these in the future, though! Keep an eye out on my Twitter and the subreddit for more opportunities like this in the future :)Here's a list of all the users whose characters appear on this page, in no particular ord...

More cameos on this page! There will be a few more (though very zoomed out) on the next page, and after that I think it'll just about do it for this batch of cameos. Here's a lits of all the users whose characters appear on this page, in no particular order:*The Violet Fox*Extravaganza*Fullmetal_Thwip*NeonLightsShifter*Sweetooth*Pixelatedtechnology*Cee*Foil-Head*He Who Watches*equinox_wolfe*The Tax Man
