Noah + Robin // ๐ป
hey everyone how are you? <3 i hope you're fine! i feel a bit better each day, still don't have a lot of energy but I'll stay patient ๐ปremember the outfit sketches i posted a few days ago, where Noah and Robin are younger? I sketched a full body comparison, because I wanted to show how different they look now to then. they're still soo soft, but I had super fun to draw this! they've grown up a bit ;;tbh the outfits they are...
Noah + Robin // flashback outfit draft
heyy, here is something I did yesterday! I'll color the sketches and then show the finished versions, too! i will also post them in an extra episode in the next few days together with some more sketches.I needed an outfit reference for myself so I don't get lost while drawing the flashback and then I thought it'd be nice to draw them next to each other to show how different they looked when they were younger. I should do this more oft...
sketch ๐ธ
hey everyone, hope you're doing fine ๐ the sketch is just a warm-up, a panel draft for a future scene (not super far in the future though) ๐ป are they arguing? or something else?i'm slowly progressing with scene 44. it has 7 pages and i've started with the lines now! i'm veryyy excited about it because one scene after another i get to fill in gaps of the story now, and i hope i can show you soon!in case you have missed it, a ...
scene 44 wip (+ a bit of talk)
heyy ๐ป here's a panel from scene 44! i can't show more of this scene yet~ but it's a scene i'm really really excited about and i hope i can finish it until mid February!this being said, i just want to give a heads up. i have to take it easy the next weeks ;; i don't think this will be super noticeable in how often i post, but *just in case* I don't show up in Discord very often or I don't engage a lot, it's just...
scene 43 (284 - 287)
update time! ๐ธ๐ง to be young and to get your heart broken....! in Noah's case it sets off something else, too....I hope you like this update! I've tested a lot of things in this (coloration wise), and it was fun to draw it even though it pains me to send this baby through all of this. I'm planning on more frequent updates (no guarantee, but it's the plan) because the current pacing of the story allows it, so I also have anoth...

sketch collection - part 01
hey ๐ฆ๐ธ look what i have for you~ a 23 page long collection for you to download!I mentioned a bit ago that i want to do a sketch collection because Ghost Lights had its 3rd anniversary in early January. Over the years a lot of sketches piled up and some of them I never showed because they are unfinished or contain spoilers. I wanted to make a nice mix, there are some really old sketches in there and some newer ones, most of them are from 201...

some changes ahead ๐ฆ๐ป
hey everyone ๐new year, new decade.... and a lot of new things I want to try and want to make better for myself and also for my readers. I apologize in advance but this will have quite some text! I want to talk about some changes I'm currently working on and planning for the comic!!First thing: I already mentioned a bit ago that I need to find a way to improve my coloring, which will then allow me to do all coloration steps (flats + shadin...
scene 42 (278 - 283)
update time! It's Part 2 of scene 41! find part 1 here in case you missed it.I've changed my coloration method for those pages a little bit to reduce working time!! It wasn't fully done in the new style, but most pages are. I wanted it to be a transition to my usual style! It's not drastically different, but simplified and therefore a bit softer and I will adapt this style for future pages! ๐ฆ๐Also, from now on the pages I wi...

info about today's update! ๐ (+ random thoughts)
hey everyone, i hope you had some nice days! ๐ฆ๐ i ate so much cake....a small heads up. there will be an update for my patrons later today!! though there's a change of plans - i decided to cut scene 41 into two parts and post the first 4 pages (out of 10) for you today, and the other pages in a few days!the reason for this: i unfortunately ran into problems / delay with the coloration because of personal issues of the person who helps m...
scene 42 wips + Happy Holidays ๐ฆ๐
hey, just a few more wips before a lot of you probably leave for the Holidays! Martha, Noah, and Robin! Noah's mom is such a delight to draw and I love to give her cute outfits and hairstyles ๐also here is another wip I tweeted earlier, of a scene (scene 46?) I'm actually also secretly working on. I have a storyboard and lots of panel drafts and sketches for it already because I have it in my mind so clearly. it's a bit of a spoile...
scene 41 + 42 - wips
some more wips ๐ป I'm still lining the panels of scene 41 (Noah), and the Robin panels are from scene 42 already! to my own surprise i'm pretty far with both scenes ? ๐ญ it feels really nice to see the pages pile up a little bit
scene 41 - wip
like mother, like son! they both go :3 ๐Noah really takes after her and i just noticed... it's been a while since Martha appeared!! but she'll be in the next two scenes!scene 41 is going to have 9 pages btw, so I'm working on a relatively long scene right now! and as planned, i'm working on scene 42, too. i'm really into it and i'm making steady progress with both ๐ป
Q&A - 03 ๐
I get a lot of different questions about merchandise! In this post I want to go a bit more into detail about plans for 2020 and why I wasn't able to release new merchandise in 2019.Q: Will you print Volume 2? Will there be a reprint of Volume 1 available, too?Yes to both! Volume 2 will be printed, and I will reprint Volume 1 at the same time. I will offer both books in a bundle, too.Q: When will you open your shop again?I don't have a set...
scene 41 - wips
happy younger Robin! and the second panel wip is a fakemon that will also be somewhere in this scene~ its "appearance" coincidentally aligned with my own pokemon obsession. talk about timing, because it 100% belongs into the plot. but tbh the scene is actually kinda angsty. never trust the cute things i show ๐ฆi hope i can surprise you with the finished thing! all in all it's just an exciting combination for me right now and it'...
scene 41 - wip
in my last post some of you already noticed it, and yes, this scene will be a flashback to when they were younger~ Noah is 14 here and Robin is 17/18!i'm almost done with the sketches of scene 41, and then i can move to scene 42i hope you have a nice weekend!! i'm stuck in pokemon hell and i enjoy it very much. please look at my cute Umbreon and Espeon (i gave them the perfect names ๐ )
scene 41 - wip
hello ๐ i have started to work on scene 41, and it's going well so far! and notice something? he baby....i'm glad to finally show this part. i have written this scene in 2017 and it was spooking around in my head ever since then.i've used a new sketch brush for the panels, but i'm not sure how much i like it yet, it's almost a little too smooth. i'll play around with it some more, but i feel like i will just switch back...

Q&A - 02 ๐ป
Question:๐ป My biggest questions are in regards to story timeline. Since you said you were going to have to shorten ghost lights, are there still going to be romantic scenes/how much more plot should we expect?I can't say for sure how long it will take me to tell this story, but I'm planning and hoping I get it done in maybe 7 years from now? That'd be 10 years in total. That's really long, I know, but to be honest, I planned th...
#ThankYouPatrons ๐ป
hey everyone ๐ฆ๐ Robin and Noah took a selfie for this special day, because today is #ThankYouPatrons day - and I want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for all your support until now!!Without you this comic would probably not exist as it is today.I have been working on this project for almost 3 years, and there were a lot of ups and downs already. But thanks to you I can work on it in my own pace, and I figured that's the most important thing be...
wip - outfit design sheet
censors with flower ๐ธfinally got around to work a bit on this! i will use two or three base poses (for both Robin and Noah) to design and show the outfits they'll wear in the story! the scenes where they will wear them are coming closer and closer, it's about time~i've had a strong idea of how the outfits should look like from the start, they're all based on the outfits of the prototype but will differ for each transformation i...
scene 40 - wips
baby's many expressions ๐ and i love to draw him with visible spirit ears (3rd wip)! over time a lot of people have pointed out that his hairstyle looks like he has "animal" ears! i'm so happy whenever someone notices ;; it's a sneaky parallel to his spirit form (plus it looks cute ๐ฆ)PS: some pages are almost done, and if all goes well I can finish and then update scene 40 for my $5+ patrons a bit sooner again! I hope li...
