Didn’t have time to forecast properly so I’m leaning heavy into the SPCs wording of a possible strong tornado and old runs of the HRRR that resolved isolated supercells in the target. She rarely makes it easy, that Mother Nature. According to my HRRR mesoanalysis… TX tails is the high percentage guarantee of daytime storms. Biggest Caveat is much higher potential of bottlenecking conga lines… never a fun thing. Kansas heads would offer many road options to reduce chaser traffic psychosis. Morning Chasers, I hope all the non-slackers who chased yesterday are okay. I caught wind that two chasers were impacted by tornadoes in Iowa but were not injured. I'm feeling some regret burn for not being there, however it was the right call factoring in my exhaustion. Good morning Chasers No time for a proper forecast so I’m going to roll with the SPC and the CAMS again today. If I leave in 30, I might get to Colorado in time for the possible supercells.
