♦ Security Camera ♦ Long Speedpaint ♦
Hey heyy residents!! Here is a long speedpaint of the last illustration <3It's been a bit since I've finished it, but this has been a very fun perspective exercise that I still feel turned out quite okay :DI hope you enjoy it!
♦ Security Camera ♦ Short Speedpaint ♦
The short speedpaint of our latest illustration!Man, Misha's eyes make me wanna shrivel up and cease, this poor poor mans :,( He's not even suffering here but his eyes are so sad nonetheless AHThere will never be a day I don't cry over Misha </3
♦ Insomnia ♦ Short Comic ♦
Dudes I haven't done a comic thing in actual years haha, this was such a fun little project! I love these sad old dads so much it's actually unreal✦•····•✦•···•✦Everyone reacts different to trauma, and there really isn't an exclusive list of things that can traumatize individuals, as there is no list to which individuals can find which situations comforting. One of the most interesting things about getting out on ...
♦ Character vs. Creator ♦ Animation Keyframes ♦
The keyframes are done!! everything else should be super quick :) I'm gonna be adding the tiny little stickers and pins and prints to it later since I gotta make them a little bit more stylized just to make sure everything is within ok with the copyright since the trend uses a copyrighted songI'm planning to do like a little FX tutorial for this vid! A bit about motion backgrounds, about snow animation and wind and everything else, so I&#...
♦ Security Camera ♦
Misha and Rick doing their big bad criminal shit, featuring Kendle's legs. I love drawing scenes between actual book scenes haha I need to stop doing that but canon-off screen things just hit different <3I can't give way too much context about what actually happens at the end of the books (though some OG followers may know cause... I'm bad at not spilling the beans AHAH), but Rick and Misha were not exactly in a great situation here. ...
♦ Sketchpages V ♦ Justus Tattoos Update ♦
The second time I'm changing Justus' tattoos this year lmao, but I swear I'm gonna try to make this the final version :,DA totally random fun fact but Justus is only like a year or two younger than Rick hahaThey are nearly the same age (the top sketches are how he looked back when he first met, so a lot younger, but the bottom one is from when they were both like nearly fifty). Justus just allowed himself to age gracefully because he ...
♦ Character vs. Creator ♦ Animation Sketch ♦
Welcome to yet another episode of "Fosc does a trend 7 months too late" <3 I have no excuse hahah I'm allergic to doing things the proper way I guess, BUT ANYWAY, this is my take on that trend that was going around for a while with characters and their creators, + a light "hey we have merch btw, wink wink" type of a video haha (you can barely see it now, but in one frame there are like prints around and a bunch of stuff like t...
♦ Biking Lesson ♦ WiP ♦
We had a little Jake drawing so we gotta have a Maggie illustration now <3 it's more chaotic but what can ya do hahaRick was such a kind, loving dad, but MAN was he bad at keeping his housemates from injuring themselves LMAO, which is kinda hilarious considering just how much importance he puts on "keeping his family safe" :,D poor Maggie was immune to falls after this fr fr, that child was indestructible after growing up with RickAls...
♦ Drive to Dolour ♦ WiP II ♦
Shoutout to my Surface tablet this was filmed on who is currently on sick leave until my extra pen charger arrives (I miss that Microsoft bastard so much y'all hahah I love my big work tablet but my surface tablet is my SON T.T just a few more days to go though hahah we'll be reunited soon <3)My abnormal emotional attachment to technology aside, here's the preview of a nearly finished painting I shared the wip of some weeks ago! I wa...
♦ Chaos Gremlins ♦
Eyy, my babies in full color for next week!!It's a very simple drawing, but it's one of my favorites I think I've ever done, it's just so sweet T.T I love them so muchIn other news, I've finished all the wips I've started and am now on ground zero with everything, which is great hahah it's been many months since I've had a blank slate to work with so I'm very happy <3 I'll definitely update you on what I...
♦ Misery with attitude ♦ Animation stills ♦
AIGHT, HERE THEY ARE!! Bro these took way too long and for no reason whatsoever hahahSo I've been wanting to do these red x grayscale animations since I did that one grayscale Rick drawing with like red highlight years ago, and since I'm slowly brainstorming book design ideas, and it's like 99% sure that illustrations are likely going to be either grascale or grayscale with red, I thought fuuck it, let's try! And i kinda love it!I...
♦ Autumn in Alaska ♦ Short Speedpaint ♦
Last illustration's speedpaint is here!! I hope you enjoy it :DBy the way, I've had a BLAST of a few days aa! I have finished the new vid (I'm gonna post stills in a day or two), I have finished another illustration (gonna post a little preview of that soon too hahah) and I'm in the middle of finishing that Justus and Rick drawing!I'll likely be starting a new vid soon-ish, but I really wanna finish those illustrations first a...
♦ Autumn in Alaska ♦ Long Speedpaint ♦
This is the illustration I kinda kept postponing for HALF A YEAR in 2023 hahaI stopped vibing with it around summer, idk why. It had something to do with the atmosphere being too bland and I was just a bit lost with my rendering style. Then, around New Years, I picked it up again and started reteaching myself how to use these more painterly brushes to render, and the rest is history! I'm still on the journey of discovering how to do this stuf...
♦ Movie Night ♦ WiP ♦
OY!! Its been a week dudes, and I am barely hanging in there :.D there is so much to do and so few hours in a day, I cannot keep upI've been finishing up the coloring on that reel and, oh my god, it's taking so long hahah. I always feel a bit bad about posting the continuous wips of the same work but, with animation, it's just often how it goes. I gotta hyperfocus on finishing it if I wanna get them done in a timely manner. I'm R...
♦ Autumn in Alaska ♦
Fancy dads watching Jake set him himself on fire in the background for like the seventh time today T.T poor guys are just trying to edit Rick's manuscripts but Jake's talent at self-destruction doesn't have an off switch unfortunately(I've been working all day on the new vid backgrounds so for anyone waiting for my DM responses, I'll be there with ya as soon as I finish those! <3)✦•····•✦•···•✦I rarely men...
♦ Misery With Attitude ♦ Linework WiP ♦
Man this took waaaay longer than it should have HAHAI kept having other things to work on, but I'm happy to say I'm finally fully done with linework animation for this one! It's kinda hard to see what is where now, but I kinda wanted to leave it as it is for this wip just to kinda show you how chaotic linework can get xD I did overdo it with the details for this one though, idk what's gotten into me. Detail blindness is my flaw un...
♦ Sketchpages IV ♦
Hiii hello, I am back from my hibernation, this weekend was a looot T.T I am here with my first attempts at drawing Farci!! I might change a bit before I make his official site page, but I'm trying to figure out how to draw balding people hahha, I just realized this is my weakness. All of my guys have sooo much hair, so this is a completely new experience✦•····•✦•···•✦So, Farci is Rick's crime buddy. He's usually ...
♦ I Fucking Love it! - Shot I ♦ Process Renders ♦
Here is a little behind the scenes for the first shot of the last vid! This one was done a few months back, before I even had a patreon, so I sadly have very few progress recordings, BUT more shall come in the future ♡ i'm thinking of maybe making some more detailed specific animation breakdowns for residents, like stuff specific for lipsyncing, for coloring and other stuff like thatI shall now hit the bed, cause my dudes, this was a viciou...
♦ Wooden Pin ♦ Design I ♦
AHOY FELLASI'm happy to announce I've gotten the first design for the pins handed over to the lovely guy I'm working with to make these things happen!! I have about 6 of these planned in 2 different themes <3 we also had a little rundown of all the things we might be doing in the future if the shop works out, so I'm quite excited!I've also worked on finishing the linework for that reel I've been trying to finish for weeks ...
♦ Fancy Red Coat ♦ Short Speedpaint ♦
New speedpaint folkss, and this one is primarily interesting because of the fur painting haha. I LOVE painting hair, I love painting any type of furry fluffy surface, so this was an absolute blast to go through, but man was this one time-consuming ooofIt was a really great way to figure out the whole coat design though. He had a few of these fluffy-collar coats and this one was the one I had most trouble deciding how I wanted it to look, but this...
♦ Fancy Red Coat ♦ Long Speedpaint ♦
Long speedpaint of the red coat drawing!I'm thinking of eventually maybe doing some tutorials for fur and things like that when I'm finally done with shop prep and a lot of other things if there will be interest for that <3 I usually approach painting of anything, but especially fur and hair, in few steps - the blocking of the shapes - the refining of the blocking - detailing - highlights - extra shading. It makes fur a lot easier to unde...
♦ "I Fucking Love It!" ♦ Stills ♦
Stills from next week's reel!!It's super simple, but I love it a lot hahah and I really love Rick's healing era where he actually tried to listen to his therapist for once and attempted to find coping mechanisms besides maiming his enemies. Ofc he failed miserably because he's not capable of doing anything without turning it into an obsession but HE TRIED and honestly? He almost died too many times for me to give him shit about it...
♦ Sketchpages III ♦
So, every now and then, I remember Rick was at his fluffiest during his post-accident era. It's the most adorable he's ever looked in my humble opinion, but then I have to remind myself that's also how he looked when he did the most horrendous shit he's ever done in his entire life T.T Some warmup sketches for this week because I finally caught up with my irl work projects, so I can concentrate more on Rick shenanigans again <3 I...
♦ Lost Purpose ♦ Long Speedpaint ♦
Long version of the sad boys process <3Again, the struggle of finding the best composition for Rick's face is insane considering how often I draw my good man T.T but it's all very enjoyable haha <3 I usually just cut out these sketching phases (or forget to film them as I sometimes don't know which sketches will end up being paintings and which won't anyway), but here I thought it was kinda interesting to see the MANY mental flip-...
♦ Lost Purpose ♦ Short Speedpaint ♦
Watching this back now absolutely boggles my mind, haha. So this process is veery similar to how I used to did my digital paintings, going from sketch directly to color and rendering. I specifically stopped doing that because it made me absolutely miserable to exist in that "ugly stage" of the painting haha, the part where everything is still just weird blobs and scraggly lines.I'm not a painter by heart, sadly. No amount of art schoo...
♦ Fancy Red Coat ♦
Rick's unhinged era resulted in a lot of chaos, but it also made him buy this sillyass coat and we gotta look at the bright sides of things you know :,DEveryone dissed him for wearing it because look at him. He's not even pretending he's not a red flag, BUT THEN AGAIN. They weren't the ones wearing a portable fur bed around with them, comfortable at all times of the day, so do their opinions actually matter, really? Or is it JEALO...
♦ Anger Management WiP ♦
So, while I was in the mountains, I went back and started finishing a few sketches I had lying around and this was one of them <3 I've started rendering it but it's currently waiting for me to finish irl work things and some shop planning haha✦•····•✦•···•✦Anyway, Rick and Justus are close friends who occasionally try to kill each other. At least once per book, one of them gets prissy and nearly kills the other, but i...
♦ Lost Purpose ♦
You know it's a bad day when Rick actually smokes that damn cigarette and doesn't just have it around unlit like an edgy stress fidget thing :,(✦•····•✦•···•✦TW: addiction discussionRick's got a long history with alcoholism, I've talked about it a lot before. It's not exactly a path that he ever really thought he'd be taking considering he's grown up with an alcoholic father who was genuinely a dis...
♦ Chaos Gremlins WiP ♦
I have arrived back home :,( sniff sniffI officially have internet back so that's good haha, I'll be checking my DMs tomorrow-ish and for the rest of the week bit by bit since I've got quite a lot to catch up on, but hiii! I hope everyone's been doing very well!I have started a few new things, so I'm gonna be posting more WiPs over the next week, I've been finishing some old things too, I've been making some designs fo...
♦ The Kostrov Traces | Wandering | Chapter VII ♦ Draft 2 Scene ♦
Maybe we shouldn't lash out at a guy who keeps us alive, Rick :,D Maybe that's not the wisest of ideas with our track record :,DDI've officially finished draft 2 of the book 2!!! It's still a bit rough since none of this is perfectly polished yet, nor professionally edited (it will be before publishing of course), but I wanted to share some small previews and scenes I kinda like <3Sorry for a bit of a slower upload rate this week ...
