Alex Valentine
another commish of Alex Valentine.I made an instragramif anyone's into that. Won't be anything you haven't seen before, just trying to get more eyes on my stuff; since deleting twitter last year I've only used bluesky and it sucks for that. Thanks for your support everybody! Back to work!!
Petite Mort
piece for Serena Silverlake, a scene from this book! Bunch of WIPs for ya too.IRO work proceeds apace, a little slow since I've been doing all these commissions to pay some bills. It's fun though, got me working on my chops. I hope you're enjoying them too!
Druid
piece from this week and some WIPs!Man, I wanted to set a Goal thing on my other page but Patreon took that feature away. So there's no way for me to communicate milestones in a permanent/easy-to-reference way... I'll have to figure something out. I want to put up a 'when i get 1000$ ill do this comic' thing for this new idea I have. OG patrons might recall that's how IRO started, a lil 1000$ goal on this very page for a lil e...

Vikka Vixenleaf
piece for Serena Silverlake!
Goblin commish + summer plans
Hey hey! I want to run my summer plan by you. The IRO story right now is at the beginning of a pretty big arc (the Halfmoon arc if you will), and I'm thinking I'll take the next few months to draw the whole thing and post it in one single epic chunk. I like the lighter rhythm of short updates but doing big chunks lets me get deeper in the Zone. And this chunk requires particular attention. So I hope everyone's cool with that.I'll s...

Chapter 3: The Green Land
New chapter is up, a dozen pages! Just a regular chapter, nothing weird.Took a ton of WIP screenshots this time, check them in the attachment.Because of some new policies they secretly added to their terms of service, I had to take everything off my Gumroad store. But that's OK because I've dusted off the IRO shop and put everything up on there! It's not as slick as gumroad but it's better for me, since I don't have to pay any...

You can sign up here and/or share this link if you like: https://pages.hardcandypress.com/launchThey're saying as early as this s...
Physical copy email list
Hey everybody! Physical books are coming this year through Hard Candy Press; they just set up a mailing list so you can get notified when the pre-orders start: Check it out here.I think it's good for the project if you sign up so they can see how much interest there is, but whether or not you sign up I'll continue to keep you apprised of everything here. (I never sign up for anything so don't worry I won't be mad!!) Starting to ge...
TOME FOUR
Tome Four of I Roved Out begins now!! Just under 40 new pages for ya. I'm so excited & relieved to get IRO going again. This tome, this book in particular, is going to be crazy.Added some WIP's in attachment here. As seems to be my habit it's a random scattering shots when it occurs to me or from stages I think are interesting.Still in Japan, drawing a lot, show you later... Back in Germany in early February, will probably get to work...

Valentine
(Pinup for an old client + a patron asked me how much lore I had written out for IRO when I started and what my scripts are like. Included my answer here if that's interesting to anyone.)Happy new year everybody! Here's the plan:--Tome Four starts up on January 25th!--Physical IRO books will be coming out in 2024 through Hard Candy Press (an imprint of the publisher I've previously mentioned). Another piece for Serena Silverlake, a hero shot of Alexandra Mountspear! And some bluesky codes for ya. (EDIT: all gone!)I set up a store on itch.io. Pinup

Even the Wicked
Hey everybody, I launched my new comic this weekend! It's called Even the Wicked. It's a grim story about a ninja who leaves her home; all traditionally drawn and lettered, in black and white. You can get it as a high-res PDF here or here, or read it online for free here.I expect it will update in irregular chunks like IRO, and similarly, will unfold slowly over many years.I put a sort of content warning (clarification?) on my Gumroad but...
