Chapter 12: Fancy Bald Cunts (1)

couple new pages are up! Felt like putting these up as they made for a nice natural break... been thinking of posting smaller chunks--I know IRO reads much better in long chapters but posting only once a month is getting to feel like a bit of a marathon. Long gone are the days of those little 4-page chapters! Might switch it up for summer, we'll see. Yall can read at your own pace anyway!10$+ people, I'll wait til the whole chapter's ...

Chapter 11: Elven Wiles

New chapter is UP! 19 pages! Not a ton of exposition either IF YA KNOW WHAT I MEANThis one was a beast! Prime example of how one sentence in my script can end up adding 10 pages to the final thing... it was originally a very short one-on-one scene but Cinder completely derailed it.Thanks for your support everybody, enjoy!

Space Elves (cont.)

Part two of a commission for Rysky. Not sure what their job is but it must be important.

Space Elves

Hard at work! What else is there to do? (Commission for Rysky, page one of two!)Hope yall are hanging in there! My town's headed into an entirely predictable third wave because our genius leaders keep repeating this worst-of-both-worlds thing where they shut things down then reopen them right away with no plan, so everyone's mad AND cases rise. I can't complain for myself, I've got a nice place with my girlfriend and steady money ...

Chapter 10: Soft Heroes

New chapter is up!! A tidy 8 pages, enjoy <3

Chapter 9: Her Pale Gaze

23 new pages are UP! Phew this was a long one... should be lots to chew on here, enjoy!

Lone Daughter of Lord Calwyn

Finally updated this page & added it to the site!Kind of odd, this chapter was posted almost exactly 5 years ago. Must be a February thing... Been cold as hell here all month (like -30 to -45) and I've got warm scenes on the mind.

Chapter 8: BECKY

New chapter is up my friends! Meet Becky and her Beckys!

Maeryll & the Order of Everyday Virtues

(this has to be the second dumbest joke in the whole comic. After 'beautiful body of water')I touched up the whole Maeryll & the nuns shower scene! Here it is attached in high resolution. It sprawls over 3 chapters so I included the untouched pages in between for ease of reading. Enjoy!

Chapter 7: The Wizard's Sleeve + 5 years of IRO!

12 new pages are UP!I sat on these for a couple extra days to hit the 5 year anniversary of I Roved Out! Which is also my 30th birthday! (My birthday is the 25th but I was born in New Zealand so you do the math!!?) My gift to myself was finally getting to this chapter where Becky is introduced. She started as a riff on rat queens but turned into something else entirely & I've been looking forward to drawing her for 4 frickin years.Hey, thanks...

Music

Hey, I put together an album of tunes I recorded throughout 2020. All modular synth improv, no edits... I say it's music to cook to. It's free, check it out!

Swamp Hag New Year

It's a Swamp Hag New Year, a chill, lonely time!Happy New Year everybody! I hope you're all hanging in there. I actually had a great year, and I'm very thankful for that. Crazy to think I was just wrapping up the Tome Two kickstarter this time last year, feels like forever ago.Anyone have any good resolutions? Usually something kind of reveals itself to me but I haven't thought of anything yet. Maybe I'll try learning to cook ...

Chapter 5: The Arrow Must Fly

New chapter's up! Patreon apparently can't do links at the moment so you know where to find it: https://irovedout.com/archive-book-7/Enjoy! It's a bunch of fuckin' chaos, and Cinder makes an incredible discovery!Hope you're all doing OK considering! The next chapters are shorter so they'll be coming out a little more often. Gonna take a few days off I reckon, been working like 12 hours a day for weeks on this. Been fun tho...

Also updated the other pages above in Tome One!Right after I post this I'm packing up my computer cuz I'm moving for real in a couple days! I'll be taking an art break for a couple weeks to move and write Tome 4 and rest. (Tomes 2, 3 and 4 were all one gigantic script I wrote up in a few weeks several years ago so there's quite a bit of r...

Chapter 3: No More Adventurers

New chapter is up :)This one's short but I love it. Probably the last I can get out before I move at the end of the month! Man... it feels good to be posting comics again.

Tome Three begins

New comics are UP. 69 new pages, didn't even do that on purpose! I tell ya, the feeling of relief is INTENSE. These pages are DENSE. So happy to finally get the story rolling again... I wrote the bulk of this tome over two years ago and it's got all my favourite stuff... you'll see.I'm moving at the end of the month, so I might not be getting as much done September-October as I usually would... but I'm looking forward to a nic...
