Doing a little prep for the next trip
The nice thing about patreon-funded stuff is I get to do cool vehicles which aren't under the purview of World of Tanks. So charge the internal cam, clear the SD card, and print out some reference sheets.I'm not sure quite yet what I'll be filming, but I'm hopeful, and this ought to be clues to the way I'm leaning.
Heading back to Benning.
Well, this time, I'm armed with my ITCH camera gear, to get a couple vehicles in the collection. If you're around, pub session in Columbus, GA, evening Thu 22 July. Further details here if anyone says they're going to come.
More whiskey has been consumed.
Well, actually, it was whisky, but it still wasn't bad.
Forgotten Weapons Q&A questions
Greetings. I have the opportunity to return the favor, and put questions to Ian this time around. He had asked his patrons for questions to throw at me, so I’m matching. It’s a short turnaround, so you have two or three days to come up with something if you want. Note, I'm not guaranteeing it'll be posed/answered, so make it a good one! Extending down to S6 level tiers.
Going to Vegas
A bit of a heads-up. I'm likely to be found in the Black Mountain Grille on Wednesday 30th, evening. Keep a hole in your calendar if you're nearby!
Q&A 21
Here you go. Post questions below.
Drinks session, Ft Benning
It’s been a while. For those of you not following FB, but who are within driving distance of Ft Benning, I’m figuring it’s been long enough we can have an open-access, all-invited pub session. Find me at the Chattabrewchee tomorrow (26 May) 1830.
Next T-Shirt idea
Greetings, all.As you've possibly gathered by now, I seem to put out a new t-shirt roughly twice a year, and I'm open to suggestions. What is it you might want on a Chieftain shirt?[Edit. OK, I have selected two and forwarded to the artist to try out. If they work out, the nominators get a free copy].

Previews of videos.
It occurs to me that some of you are not tracking that if I get a video done more than a couple hours before release, I put a link to it on the Discord server. Example, tomorrow's video has been up for a few hours, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=USpg88J1tJU They usually are not 'refined' with thumbnail, description, etc yet, and on occasion, the lads on Discord catch a mistake for me to correct before full release. If you can see this...

As ever, post your questions in the responses below.
January Travel
So, for my next bout of Patreon-funded tank filming, I had a brilliant idea. "It's winter", thinks I. "It's cold in the Northern Hemisphere. Let's find a tank museum in the Southern hemisphere".Didn't work out. Watch out for me in Sweden (Arsenalen) the week after next, if you're in the area.

Camera Upgrade
In accordance with my commitment to use Patreon money to upgrade the quality of my product, the “cheapest acceptable” camera I’ve been using since before launching the page has met its far more capable replacement. (The latter being the one in the back, if you’re wondering). Supposedly still relatively easy to use, I hope my meager skills can actually make use of its capability. We’ll soon find out in a couple of weeks. So, Patreons, th...

Videos from Shrivenham.
Not strictly Patreon-related, as it's a product of World of Tanks, but you may be interested in these two videos from Shrivenham's Defense Academy to get your Chieftain fix while I'm dealing with my family visiting from Europe.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2PjBuKLjpQhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUIbppSaW0Qhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ck6fxjlkoHM
