The semester before going to Wolfgang will be fun! This is the second stop on their adventure and its pretty hard for Elio. Thank you Retsu for letting us showcase this chapter! Chance Writing Commission Spotlight: Alice
Since it's birthday week, I figured we'd feature an OC writing commission that had a birthday twist in it! This is a story for Alice one of many OCs for the creator Maple. As tricky as this OC was to write for we had a lot of fun creating this piece! I always love writing about birthdays and holidays as they are special occasions which every OC goes through in a unique way! If you want your own writing or art commissions check them out he...

Chance Writing Commission Showcase: Zaq
Zaq has been featured quite a few times on our Patreon but this chance writing prompt is one of my favorites. I think it gives a good insight into some of the motivations behind this character. This story takes place before his time at Wolfgang. Thank you Mal for letting us showcase this piece! If you want your own writing or art commissions check them out here: https://www.herohelix.com/commissions
Manga Vol 1 BTS: Backgrounds
This manga page was not easy! As you can see it had a ton of detail. Anytime there is a background piece in a manga with this much going on it can be difficult to give focus to the viewer. Our art assistant, Moni, did an amazing job shading and bringing life to this complicated page. This page also featured Ray Galaxy for the first time, which had its own process to get colored correctly!

Writing Commission Showcase: Charlotte and Wolfgang
This is the third commission featuring Charlotte. She was one of the first OCs I've ever worked with, so I'm always excited to work with her and her creator, Caitie, again! Caitie and I are very similar and so I am always drawn to Charlotte as a character and Caitie always knows what kind of prompts to give me to get my mind working. I hope you all enjoy a dive into a little more of what quantum karmastry looks like at Wolfgang! If you wa...

Flux Destiny Earth Revealed! + World Lore Materials
Yesterday was an exciting day.It marked the culmination of five years of intense, deliberate, hyper-focused worldbuilding... and we’re still just getting started. It meant so much to me to have so many of you show up for the live world map reveal on YouTube. Thank you for being there, and for sharing in the excitement as we unveiled this major piece of Flux Destiny lore.I always say that "deliberate" storytelling and worldbuilding matter...
Manga Vol 1: Ch 1 Logos!
This week, we wanted to showcase the logos inside the first few pages of the manga. These will probably show back up over the series (and more will be added, I'm sure haha). You wouldn't really think about the logos until you need them, so we wanted to make sure ours were well thought out before we needed them over and over again!
Chance Writing Commission Showcase: William
This is the first commission I have done for Moose, and this was such a great one to start on. It was a difficult task to learn about a new instrument, but it was definitely worth it. I hope we get to learn more about William soon! If you want your own writing or art commissions check them out here: https://www.herohelix.com/commissions
