The hardest part is done!!! Now we are working on making her pretty!
Call me
Call me for all of your upholstery, specifically coffin upholstery needs.
Meh
I’m not gonna lie. Today sucked. Like mega sucked. No particular reason, just mental stuff. I tried to come out and work on the coffin, probably 5+ times before I just stared at it and started crying. I don’t know why I am so emotionally invested in this prop. I know I have wanted to make it for years and I feel like I finally have the chance to do it, I really want to get it right. I keep second-guessing myself, taking steps back, regrettin...
The boss arrived
The men have finally decided to start listening to me. I asked them to create more of a structure to allow posing with weight-bearing purposes! And in doing so I feel that it has closed the coffin in significantly, which will give us more of a narrow petite feeling, which is what I wanted originally! This has also created much more of a sound structure, so I am way more confident in all types of posing!I also purchased some really pretty trim! I p...
Model searching
Tomorrow I will be opening up a few spots for spooky Patreon projects! These are specific sessions I want to do for spooky season and will be very detailed/planned out!
Ignore my trashy porch
I got the coffin painted today and tomorrow I’m gonna work on installing the padding and Velvet!
I’m so excited
Tomorrow I will be dedicating my entire morning to decorating this monster! She’s pretty big, much bigger than I anticipated, but I had two men working with me who refused to listen to my sizing advice. You know how men are with their measurements… anyways! I am extremely confident that once we put the padding and velvet inside of the coffin, things will start to come alive!
Getting there
All the cuts have been made!
Da daaa daaaaa
We are starting work on the coffin!!
Eyelash Glue
The amount of eyelash glue used to bring this session to life... We should be sponsored at this point.
Ahhh
Sunday we start building the coffin!!! I will be posting all the behind the scene goodies here! May have a giveaway to celebrate too 👀
Soon
This entire album drops next week, here only!!! Ahhhh!!!!
This or that
Please forgive my left handedness, but these are my two mock ups for potential locations/positioning of the coffin! For the first option, I picture it kind of laying down like a funeral home type vibe? On a table with some type of velvet tablecloth, perhaps? Second option, it’ll be more like a shrine! There are pros to both options and cons to both options! I am really struggling with which I prefer
Thoughts?
Which light feels more on theme?
Help
Do any of these say “vampire mistress”? I’m realizing a religious hobby store probably wasn’t the best choice for sensual gothic decor 🤣😭
Ugh
Hobby lobby gives me so much anxiety, there are just too many options
Am I weird or
Does anyone else drive with their leg propped up? I drove a five speed for so many years and now that I don’t have to worry about shifting I feel like this is where my leg goes naturally. 🤣
Part one
All of the large items needed to build the coffin prop are completed now we are returning the truck and then we are heading out to do the details. My FAVORITE part!
Oh lawd
I have acquired my father‘s giant truck to pick up all of the supplies needed to build our coffin! Every time I drive this ginormous thing I feel like I could steal everybody’s woman and then go muddin
Come with me!
Today we are off hunting down all the little things needed to bring our coffin set to life! I will be posting in here asking lots of questions today! So come along on the journey and help my indecisive ass!

A Familiar Face and Fresh Perspectives
When you work with a client over several years, a unique relationship develops. This particular client and I have shared many sessions, each one reflecting a different phase in their life. What’s remarkable about this kind of partnership is the opportunity to witness and capture a person’s evolution, both in their personal journey and in the art of photography itself. This session was no different. As we planned, we reminisced about past shoot...

Custom Spooky Sets
This year we will have 3 spooky sets and then I have blocked out these dates for “custom” sets! This means if you book a custom date, you’re not interested in the other themes and you’d like to design your own spooky session! For example in the image above, my clients waited to do a purge theme! So they booked a custom session where they brought all the props and whatnot that they needed to have a spooky time! Custom spooky sets are more a...
