Counterstrike 2 Neon Wallpaper - Process
In anticipation for CS2 dropping later this year I wanted to create a wallpaper based around one of the in game operators with a bit of a monstrous turn to him. The rough linework and colors have been figured out, now it's onto the final version.Hope you dig it so far!Update April 18th: Main dude is done, now onto the background!

Space Devil 4k Wallpaper Process - WIP #2
A bit of progress on the wallpaper - linework is almost there, still adding in extra details here and there. After that's done it'll be on to the base colors - I've colored in the entire sketch so there shouldn't be any guesswork as to the color palette, I'm still happy with the mess of colors from the start so that what we'll end up with once it's finished.Next update will be the base colors!

This is one of my favorite wallpaper illustrations - the colors, the characters, everything just seems to fit together cohesively. Linework is done! I tried to bring in some more black to offset the brighter colors for the final piece as well as add more detail to the wings.Next step is working on finalizing the colors and highlights!

Another one down! Here's the final result of the first Carnival sketch started earlier this month. It took a minute to wrangle the colors together but I think they turned out pretty decent, more orange than I usually use.Included Is the 4k wallpaper jpeg and Photoshop files plus some phone wallpapers. Carnival Wallpaper Process (updated Jan 17)
Linework is finished! At this point it's all about color - I've already started blocking off large areas with solid colors to get an overall feel for the piece before going into detail. This way makes it easier to alter them if need be to make the piece feel more cohesive.The colors aren't set in stone at this point either - thee will most likely be a few changes before things are set in stone. All finished! The shading and highlights are always my favorite part and really bring everything to life. This design was a bit less color intensive but I still like how it turned out.Included in the attached files are the high res Photoshop file, two 4k desktop wallpapers and a short side by side of the process from sketch to final.Hope you all dig it!

Happy New Years everyone! First update of the year - the colors for the main character have been laid down. Next step will be adding the lighting and finer details. At this point, just the flat colors by themselves can look boring and well, flat. But once I'm done with the next step things should be more defined. Stay tuned!

Skull Cane Sketch file + process
Happy Holidays everyone! I wanted to practice with a rougher brush and sketch something holiday themed so here's where I ended up. The brush I used was a standard hard edge brush, pretty much the basic one everyone starts with. I then turned down the opacity to 63% and added a dissolve mode, those helped create that nice chalky look.I've attached breakdown in steps and the full sketch file so you can see how all the layers work together.H...
