WolfeyVGC post Yanmega Top 8 Team Report from patreon

Hey all, here's the team I used to finish top 8 at this weekends Louisville Regional Championships. I built the team with my friend Yotam who also made it into top cut.Export: https://pokepast.es/2ce3f8a276f18323Rental code: 01NTGPTeam explanation:This team started with the idea that Porygon2, Ursaluna, and Incineroar are a very strong core, but I didn't like the Amoonguss/Flamigo/Gholdengo version because it is overall very slow and puts...

Guaranteed OHKO Team Report

Hey all, here's the team I used to go 8-2 to finish 5th place in this weekends Spear Pillar tournament. The team ended up performing far better than I expected and is a lot of fun to use, but I should warn you that it is REALLY not easy to use.Team Export: https://pokepast.es/05a7ddb920ab6f06Explanation for the team:I knew I wanted to build around Skill Swap + Sheer Cold + No Guard. Sheer Cold is the best OHKO move because the only type immun...

Weezing Team Report, Guide, Mechanics Breakdown, and more

Hey all! I used this team to finish 9th at the Baltimore Regional Championships, and I thought rather than just do a write up I'd do a full team report and explain how I built the team and how to use it, plus some other fun stuff. Hope you enjoy using the team, it's a lot of fun.Team Export: https://pokepast.es/4ffb14742a95376cRental code: KFK1J5

Typhlosion-H Rental Team + Explanation

Hey all! Here's the team I used in the Victory Road tournament along with an explanation for the choices.Export:https://pokepast.es/287b8b5e54888c06Teambuilding theory:I started with Specs Typhlosion + Sunny Day Whimsicott with the goal of overwhelming my opponents with choice specs eruption in the sun. I then decided I wanted a trick room mode with Pokemon that could also work in tailwind, so I added Ursaluna-BM who excels at this as well as...

Public Service Announcement

Hey everybody - as many of you know, I do monthly team reviews for Patrons in the Champion tier - and there's something I've noticed that's been popping up pretty often as the ruleset changes and a new year of VGC begins. I've noticed many, many players state that their goal for this season is to make day 2 at Regional level (and above) events.I wanted to make this post because I think I've done y'all a disservice with how...
