Junkyard dog WIP's

been working on the next big painted commission for a bit this week! Right now I'm deep in the rendering phase, so I figured I'd show off the WIP of it!

One of the major things I've been working on for a few weeks now is hip and leg anatomy.Part of this comes from trying to understand the Pelvis and how it works. One of the methods known for this is the "bucket" method. The rough shape of a bucket can tend to get the general idea of the shape down.although lining it up correctly with the legs can be a bit difficult haha.and finally to end it, it's time to add the belly

Bod Sketches 7-17

Got a whole chunk of work sketches from the last few weeks of lunches!Been working hard on getting the feel of his hips down lately. Backsides are just way too much fun to draw up!and drawing up his shorts even more so! They just help to show off them curves.of course it takes plenty of work to get that dynamic feel for it! (also included are some rough sketch work for commissions)Guess most wouldn't know that Bod practices the hammer throw X...

Hi Res of Corset Popper Pic

Here is the Hi res of the Corset Popper pic!

Corset Popper Sketch

Just finished up this sketch commission right now and figured I'd show it off! Been playing around with a bit of a different sketching method digitally, and this is sort of my first commission attempt with it.FOr the most part the biggest thing I've been doing with this is a bit of a understudy to get the size down. I'ts been helping out a ton and has allowed me to do a bit cleaner lines while still holding to the sketchy feel!

Bod sketches

So I've been really digging the clothing on Bod lately, so here are some more doodles breaking down what they normally look like!Starting off you have his casual wear which consists of a pair of hip hugging capris in addition to a close fitting long sleeve.Which under that Bod tends to wear his workout/comfy clothes. These tend to be some calf length yoga pants and a clopped spandex long sleeve.

Space Balls 2 Hi Res

Just finished up this crazy fun piece for a commission! Got to go all out on the designs and look of it with plenty of bellies, and lots of space themed vies all around!

Adding shine!

TIme to get all the shine down on this Derg. Normally once I start major pictures like this I will build up the initial light sources based on the area around it.

1st patreon sponsored pic

Hey everyone I'm finally starting work on my first patreon sponsored pic! Been wanting to do some good ol inflation art for a bit with Bod, and figured a bit of latex would go a long ways to breaking that in! In addition I'm planning on using this to create my first tutorial also which wil be on rendering latex!

Shoulder Anatomy Sketches

One of the major things on my list to work on is shoulder and back anatomy! So this week I dedicated my work lunches to developing and breaking down the bones and muscles on the back to start understanding it more. I've uploaded the first 3 days worth of work I did on it and plan on uploading the next grouping later in the week! As you can probably see from some of these, the sketches can be a mix of good and bad. But with every single one I ...

HorsePower Hi res

Here is the hi res for a commission I did for Grendel on FA! Played around with some new stuff on the painterly process for this that I absolutely loved! Cant wait to use it some more in future pics :3!

New Character Designs

Working on some new ideas revolving around a Manta Ray character! Got some of the basic ideas down now with him, just need to start doodling him some more now! Also included is a random scribble from work of a samurai X3

Zero suit inflation

Been seeing some art with this suit lately and was really in the mood for a quick sketch! So here is Bod working in a new suit with a bit of water :3c

Bod doodles

Working a bit more on defining Bod's clothes and figure! This just gives me a bit more of a reason to sketch out them hips!

More Klax sketches

Working on some more posing and general ideas for my red panda Klax! Also finally got a bit of time to do a belly pic with him :3c

Hi Res Yin and Yang Bellies

Just finished up this pic for GDZeek over on FA! Got to play around with a lot of color theory with this one and ended up finishing it off with a blue scheme in the end! Originally I had wanted to try and give a warm background with the colors, but at the end tried out some more bluish coloring and felt that it helped the characters stand out more against the background!

Horse Power WIP

Working on some new comms this week, and one of the big ones is this horse! Going to be a full painted pic, so I figured I'd show off some of the first steps which are normally sketches and flat colors. Going to be playing with the colors a whole bunch on this, but for now here is the first look at it!
