There were many times that I had wake up early but couldn't go to sleep early, so I didn't get much sleep. That has happened more times than I can count, so having an earlier bedtime is a necessity. I've looked into the research and having a consistent bedtime and wakeup time is important as well as going to bed by 10 pm, though I don't know if I could go to bed that early consistently. It's a little sad because I used to love staying up really late to do work, it is always the most quiet in those early hours.
