In giving -thanks who am I giving it to?
It first ripples back—to me . Then, it flows to those around me, who benefit. And from there it moves out to those around them and so on. At least, this is the hope.
i say~Let’s make gratitude contagious.
Practicing gratitude, actually takes discipline and effort. Our societal norms lean toward messages of not having enough, doing enough or being enough.
The simple effort of giving thanks—even if I’m not feeling it in my being—can change my perspective. Amidst global catastrophe and unrest, I can still pause and notice the small things and allow a sense of thankfulness. Mad Love
