"How Long Will It Take?" (Blog):
"How long will it take?" It is the most common question I get, and it's to the point that I've been copying and pasting m response. But here's the thing, this will never be a quick thing, and anyone who promises you otherwise is full of shit. Think of PE the same way you would think about losing weight or gaining muscle. It takes time, everyone is different, and everyone's body responds differently.
It also depends on; your recovery, routine type, proper warm up and, of course, safety. PE should be treated with the mindset that every time you do it, you're getting closer and closer to your goal. If you only go to the gym once a week, but you get a Big Mac every day, then don't complain you weren't beach body ready when summer comes around. It's the same concept!
And my thing is. Does it matter if it takes a week, month, or even a year for you to accomplish your goal? I know for a fact that compared to when I first started recording videos to now, there is a difference in my weight and my size. It's been a slow process, but there has been progress.
So from now on, my question to people who ask me, "how long will it take?" Will be, "how much time are you willing to give it?" I guess this blog was more of a rant than anything else, but it needed to be said. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
