My boss noticed it and, instead of criticizing me, simply talked to me. Calmly, humanly. He told me I needed to rest and sent me home.
You know, I’ve been thinking a lot: is it okay to show your emotions? Now I realize it was necessary. We’re not machines, and sometimes it’s important to let yourself be vulnerable.
Thank you to everyone who supported me and was there for me. It means the world 💛
