I finished this last night and CRIED at some points!
Maybe I'm just an emotional person (duh), but period romances always get me. Something about external obstacles, like social class, preventing two people from being together... it gets me!!
This was also surprisingly spicey, which I LOVE in a period piece. I recently went through a Bridgerton obsession, and there's something so exciting about the tension, repression, corsets, grumpy dukes ðĪĢ
I like to try out crazy monster romances and convoluted poly relationships, but the truth is I'm vanilla AF ðĪĢ my favorite romance is two people who desperately love each other, no matter the world or setting. So I was really happy with this book âĪ
