🕑 Added 2023-09-02 13:57:09 +0000 UTC Sorry to be slow on the sexy content! I'm busy busy harvesting wild rice to eat all year long. I'm going to make some cute vids for you when I'm back home, and I'm sure you will graciously ignore my bug bites 😉Wild rice is a huge part of my diet and a huge part of what I love about living in the Midwest. It's a truly magical food that grows on lakes and falls freely into your boat when it's ripe. Ojibwe people call it Manoomin, and it's a huge part of their culture and history in this area. What you've bought at the store labeled wild rice is almost certainly farmed, not really wild. On a good day a team of two can harvest about a hundred pounds of finished rice. It's a lot of work though to be in the right place at the right time with everything you need to recieve this bounty. That's my focus this week 😊
