Sometimes, I wish the wrinkles on my belly would go away, that my skin could be tight and smooth like it used to be. But these marks, aren’t they just signs of life? They carry my past, showing I’ve grown, I’ve been through things, and I’ve had the strength to keep going.
If being perfect means wiping all this away, then what’s left of the real me?
The things people call “flaws” are actually part of who I am. They remind me I’ve lived, I’ve loved, and I’ve fought.
So, to everyone chasing perfection, I’d say: real wholeness isn’t about having no flaws. It’s about accepting these “imperfections”—because they’re what make us truly ourselves.
