Bearded Work
🕑 Added 2023-06-15 19:23:37 +0000 UTCBert couldn't help but notice more and more men around him were working with beards. He wasn't sure if he felt intimidated by it, but it felt weird, the boss even having one of their own. Something seemed off about the force, only focusing on work, giving blunt responses. He dismissed it as being new to the company. He managed to get one of them interested, talking about their beard. Bert was happy to have finally made a friend, even handed their bottle of beard oil to try.
Bert was curious, never having attempted growing a beard before. He applied the minty balm to his face, feeling it seeping into his skin causing a brighter feeling. He felt good having it on, breathing in the fresh scent, and felt happy going about the rest of his day.
He couldn't help but apply it the next day and forgo shaving, admiring the stubble that had started to grow on his face. He felt as good as he had the previous day, able to focus more on his work and feeling less out of place. It felt good working his body, doing labor, finding himself exhausted by the end of the day. He didn't realize his mind was being affected by the potion, slowly engraining itself into him.
He was an entirely different man by the end of a month. His body had filled out with fat and muscle, his brow thick. His beard had taken over his face, filling out the entire space under his nose and over his mouth. Each breath only smelled of the balm, his head cut off from fresh air. It was too late anyway to stop, his skull empty aside from the fumes of vapor. His stance was loose, burdened by the new weight of his body. He had become the perfect working brute, dumb and obedient, unable to focus on anything but work.
