I’m currently reading “The Poisonwood Bible” by Barbara Kingsolver and this video reminded me of this part: “Oh, and the camel. Was it a camel that could pass through the eye of a needle more easily than a rich man? Or a coarse piece of yarn? The Hebrew words are the same, but which one did they mean? If it’s a camel, the rich man might as well not even try. But if it’s the yarn, he might well succeed with a lot of effort, you see?” Would love to see a future Grant’s Bible Corner on ambiguities in translation in the Bible and how these ambiguities could muddy interpretations!

So fucking accurate. Love the graphics and funny little add ins- totally gives this its own vibe! I do wish you had that dope, sexy shirt on from episode 16, but Jesus famously loved jackets too, so it’s all good 🙏🏼

My first thought seeing your old mega church was, ”Jesus Christ!” So I guess it worked?

Love these corner, corner, corners!

Love this! What’s tough about being ex-catholic is that catholics don’t really hang too tightly to the Bible, instead there’s so much more bs documentation and catechism developed by white men for 2000 years
