This was a great listen for your first episode. Never been religious, but still find it fascinating. I wonder how and why did (Christian) religion become so powerful in the US where in other developed countries it is declining? Looking forward to more stories ❤️😁

This was really healing for me to watch/listen to. You (Grant M) said one thing that I immediately text my Grant (😂 ) and it was the part where you said that you may not believe but Jesus still had some really good teachings and it was like a lightbulb moment for me! That even through this journey I can still care about and apply teachings from Jesus even though I don’t believe. I think “losing Jesus” has been a really heartbreaking thing for me because from what I learned of him, he was SOOO kind, loving and would honestly (I think) really care about the LGBTQ+ community so disconnecting with our religion meant to me that I couldn’t believe in any part of Jesus but hearing you made me think I could still think of the kind things that made me love him in the first place, just in a different way… like more of a “that guy Jesus has some great stories with some great points” and move on. Maybe one day we can all meet in real life and trauma dump together. You Grants both made me laugh out loud at work and cry, too. ♥️💙💜 (This is Grant’s wife, btw)

I’m not religious at all, never raised like that. But I love all these conversations on twinuendo because I think many can identify with the idea of separating yourself into pieces for whatever reason and then hopefully spending the rest of your life discovering those pieces and becoming whole again. Just wanting to be loved for who you really are, whoever the hell that may be. When you hear someone becoming their authentic self it’s just amazing. Thanks Grant squared for the “10 minute” episode!
