As I said my Daughter Shania, would like to convert all my stuff in 2d color version, (front and back view of course but with the top view too), do you think it's a good idea?

Tokens are a cool idea.
My very first Kickstarter was for Devin Knights monster manual VTT tokens. I printed them out cut them into 1inch or 2inch squares as required and "laminated" them with packing tape. super fast to get them on the table and you can even write on them with wet/dry erase markers.
