Progress update for 07/01/2024
🕑 Added 2024-01-07 10:30:46 +0000 UTCHeya all! So, as per request of some people here, here is a smaller development update with some info on what we're working on. So, on the coding front, we got adding the latest of the dialogs for Summer growth; a steamy new date with Kris, where they actually discuss their mutual relationship and what is means to them.
For feudal growth we are working on the first way to SPEND resources in the game. Though the player controls a princess whose bound by tradition and as such cannot rule directly, she still starts with a single city she can fully develop; castle lakeview. At the start of the game this is the players main base, and building it up is one of the first goals you get. On the right you see a list of buildings which the player can place; of course, this is all testing assets for now. These can be placed in slots, with some slots limiting what you can build next to them or giving extra bonuses or penalties.
Second of all, I've locked soviet into the art mines and he's produced some rather uncanny art! It's very much in the testing phase, but let's see if people can guess what these will be used for!
