Progress update for 27-11-2022
🕑 Added 2022-11-27 12:18:56 +0000 UTCThis week I took a break from the clothing logic to instead focus on a MUCH requested feature; a new job! In a single week we wrote and implemented over 25.000 words of a new NPC! People, meet Eddy!
Eddy is an NPC I had been waiting to introduce for some time. While he isn't dateable, he is a rather important one as he's the owner of the bulk barn and will in the future be the players ticket to bodybuilding shows!
The new job is simply working at the chaotic bulk barn, helping people there and spending your time with Eddy. The income is comparable with the desk job with Emma, but instead scales with the players fitness, cooking, and bookkeeping skill. So it provides a good way to level those skills, while still being able to focus on growing.
Waffle, my co-programmer has meanwhile focussed on fixing a ton of bugs in the new clothing system while Gabe, the co-writer, has focussed on adding all of this Eddy content. With one month remaining to the deadline of the new release I'll be working hard to add all the new clothing bonuses and content, and then all the writting. It'll be a busy period, but I think I can manage!
