Welcome back to another Weekly Round Up! It has been a killer week with Under the Hood launching and a lot of news regarding Flambeau Deluxxx on steam! We did have a few hiccups from Shady Lewd Kart but we are on it and working to get it out the door. This week you will get your spooky update to the game. That I can promise.
Shady Lewd Kart (Halloween in November)
We have been very behind when it comes to Kart's new update. We usually never miss a mark so I apoligise as so many things this month really crunched us into a corner.
A very spooky Jiangshi Detour is being added to this update for you to unlock. With lewds of course. This was a last minute addition as more of a sorry and thank you for waiting so long on the other parts of this update.
I honestly think out of all her costumes this one has to be my favorite. The team did an amazing job bringing this to life and adding a very cool style with the Hi-Vis jacket.
With Under the Hood launching we are also giving you the chance to unlock Nightgown Silvie too! Meaning both Kart girls will get some serious love in the games update. If you own a copy of Under the Hood this will unlock via the Lock n Lewd menu in Shady Lewd Kart.
Ducky did a good job with this one. She has those bedroom eyes that make us wish we were her favorite wrench.
As a final teaser for upcoming racers here is a cutscene for the update. Yeah Silvie has a central focus on this one. But who could it be?
Oh and before I forget here is the final sketched version we got a few weeks back for Detours new costume. I have to say Ducky outdid herself on this one. You will be able to unlock this in the upcoming event!
Under the Hood (OUT NOW!)
Under the Hood is out now on Steam, itch, GOG and many more store fronts to come! Its been wild to get to this point and release the game. We hope you are enjoying the story of Silvie and her family before the events of Shady Lewd Kart. It was so damn fun to write and build the universe of Shady Corner to be even bigger than ever.
We have sent out keys to all Patreons in the Key tier. So if you havent yet, check your inboxes and emails. If you havent got your key yet please dont hesitate to message me so we can sort it out for you. A patch is dropping in a day or so with some text corrections and one more bug that was found so hang tight.
The most important thing is you spread the word. Leave a review and tell the world that Shady Corner has the premium lewd games with amazing gameplay. Its because of you we grow!
Flambeau (Animations for Kitchen Finale)
As we draw to the end of the Kitchen level design in Flambeau I wanted to showcase some designs we got from our animator. One being the scrapped door design leading to the Kitchen.
Originally we didnt want to have a conventional menu in the first game and the lobby of the mansion was going to serve as a place for Flambeau to select and pick things.
Now these are done we can connect each floor for Flambeau's kitchen levels. I know something as simple as doors can be overlooked but the theme is important to the lost content.
Also Toxin's tentacles have been given a glow up and look so cute swaying ready to be attacked. Ive got this animation on in the corner of my screen watching it as I type this hahahaa.
