What kind of dnd monster/creature to fight would you NEVER expect to see in this kind of campaign? Peryton was thematic af, whatever that little fuck Martin was was amazing, but what woukd be completely out of left field?

Mostly forever DM here..What are some ways to get back the fire to give your players a good time? Most of my recent games have suffered from the anxiety of this. P.s. Star wars game of 8 people that went 6 years.. Mutants and Masterminds of 3 years and 12+ years of dnd.
