Chapter - 18: Big Barda Part - 3

After about twenty minutes Barda reappeared wearing a red top and stretchy pants that put her ass in great evidence.
The red top suited Barda's ample breasts, which were both firm and large thanks to her enhanced Apokoliptian genetics. Her toned body gave the perfect combination of feminine and muscular all at once. Her buttocks reached only to her hips and displayed a pair of long, toned legs that could crush boulders with their strength.
However leaving aside the thoughts that were forming in my mind she sat in a small couch in front of us.
"So what do you want, Gilotina? I doubt this is a pleasure visit," Barda asked as her gaze finally stopped on me. "More importantly, what on earth is he?"
Gilotina did not seem surprised by his words, as if she had expected such a question. "And a person who will change our future.... Do you remember the project in which I invited you. But of which you refused to participate and instead became bitter about your future with Mister Miracle."

Gilotina did not seem impressed by his distraught mood and said in a calm and cold tone, very different from her usual one. "As much as you want to deny it, Barda, it was not suitable for you! He is too compassionate when Darkseid is severe!"

You're just a shadow of the old and ruthless and impetuous captain of the furies that everyone respected and feared," Gilotina affirmed in a voice of clear that she could
Barda had long since distanced herself from her Fury female roots after breaking free from Granny Goodness and her small army of flatterers. Unlike what one might think the woman was extremely proud of this.
He was silent for a few seconds before murmuring. "Maybe you're right, I've gone too soft, but what you're trying to do is no different from actual suicide...."

"What gives you so much confidence in him, Gilotina?" could only ask Barda of her old friend seeing her so confident of success when it was clear that they had no hope against Apocalypse's endless armies.

I just watched there was no need for my intervention for the moment, especially I didn't think her needed my help to be able to get what herwanted.
Barda showed a look of realization. "I understand, the plan you have in your twisted mind Gilotina, you are equal to once a small snake waiting for the right moment to attack ... But that will not be enough to defeat it"

Barda simply sighed at her stubbornness that had not changed after so much time spent with her in the battlefields. Accordingly, she stood up from her sitting position while positioning herself in front of a completely normal wall.

"This is really very interesting news," replied Gilotina clearly in a good mood at this unexpected information.
Barda simply huffed. "Of course, for you for sure," she said as she went on to say "Now is the time for you to go..." she said looking at Gilotina in particular. "Like you they are keeping an eye on me so that I can stay on this planet. And I have no interest in receiving a visit from the Kryptonian..."
"Mhm" nodded. Gilotina agreed with her. " And time to go was a good talk-I hope you will think about my proposal and give me an answer in the future, but I'm sure you will-"
I followed Gilotina as I passed by the furies commander and could hear her whispering words in my ear. "You are strong and that is an undeniable fact... But since you appeared before me, beyond your strength I can feel doubts coming from within you and that makes you weak!"
My body could not shake slightly as I listened to her, I could not refute her words, she was right about everything and maybe it was time to solve this problem once and for all.
"If you really want to have a chance to defeat him, get rid of what makes you weak. Of course, all this is only if you really intend to defeat him and claim his throne, otherwise stay here on earth and live a life as a mere human..."
