not sure if you got this explained somewhere else but in the 25th games they made them vote for who to send, and in the 50th games it was double the number of people. These were Haymitch's games and a big reason why he's a drunk. His movie is dropping in November so you guys should def look at his character a little more! So he's been a mentor for 25 years so thats watching 50ish kids die every single year. His story is one of my favorites

You guys should definitely check out “Hunger Games a ballad of Songbirds and snakes” after Pt 1 & 2 . It’s a prequel to the series with President Snow being younger. It’s super good!!
