Glamor hole update- some more polish + rendering stuff
🕑 Added 2022-07-18 11:46:51 +0000 UTCBeen polishing up the final two scenes. The juicy pull out and the final dialogue thing. The junk I manually animated, and it took a lot of fondling- I mean fiddling- (ha) with the balls to get it okay looking.
I was also trying to get a nicer shape of the fluids from his butt! Still needs further testing...
Some stills from the first scene, rendered! I thought that maybe finally rendering this part would help me feel more energized about this thing, and it really did! I think it's looking pretty good. Not perfect, but fine enough. I'm really happy with how the shirt interacts with the body near the end!
Seeing the end result is a nice reminder that eventually, yes, these flat, sort of pointy characters will actually look a lot prettier and smoother later!
I was (and still slightly sort of am, maybe) considering scrapping the entire final scene, and making something a bit more crazy. Like, the dragon slowly lowers his head to the hole, then the entire bathroom starts to dissolve like this:
And they're in a pitch black void. The triceratops is getting pretty freaked out, backing away and the dragon moves towards him, eventually on top of him, with his face close to his, then there's the dialogue.
I probably won't do that, BUT I will be using this shader somehow! I imagine this is how the dragon poofs into/out of places when he just wants to go there, or travel into a different dimension. It uses global coordinates so it works on any mesh you throw it on!
There's also an updated animatic, with all the latest viewport renders! There's a lot of fluids to simulate still... which will take awhile, but at least the cloth sim stuff is done.
