8:19 i dont know if it's 1:1 but that blue hallway with the double ended stair case & chandeliere looks like the hallway from Laura Bow the Colonel's Bequest! I wonder if it's a reference/inspo or if that organically happened from designing a mansion from the same videogame era

So! I’m gonna say something about Thorson Peter (the little freak) that I (the average freak) found personally relevant. He makes games based on his dreams and is considered to be prophetic (a stretch) or psychic (a pokemon type). He instead may have a condition that he and I share called premonitions. Typically these happen in dreams and while Thorson’s were crafted to fit a narrative, mine are objectively worthless. The most relevant one I’ve had was me sitting in an unfamiliar location, watching a stranger play an unknown game with someone in the couch with me who was not me significant other. Years later it came to pass as that person is my now girlfriend, sitting in our apartment, watching some guy have a not great time playing Porgy! All this to say I liked the Thorson is a dream precog theory and it was fun. As was this whole review!

I've had a lot of fun betting on Quibbles with friends. Though, "this game is so boring you need other people to make it fun for you" isn't exactly a glowing recommendation. xP

Bought UFO 50 yesterday after finishing listening to the videos over several days. Started with Camouflage and Warptank. Actually hearing and seeing how so many of these games are just excellent and fun in so many different ways made me feel I couldn't NOT buy it. Thank you both for making such a great video/review <3

More stats, because I need this. Rating breakdown for Jello (1*/2*/3*/4*/5*): 7/9/9/14/11 Rating breakdown for Piph (1*/2*/3*/4*/5*): 3/7/9/17/13 (Mortol II was left unrated) Difficulty breakdown for Jello (1*/2*/3*/4*/5*): 7/10/8/20/5 Difficulty breakdown for Piph (1*/2*/3*/4*/5*): 7/16/11/11/4 (Again, Mortol II was left unrated)

The only benefit I'll give to Pilot Quest is that the idle game continues to go even when you close the game, so you can just leave it for 10 hours while playing the other games safe and sound. Other than that it was a *miserable* first choice of game that resulted in me not picking UFO50 back up until just now.

Didn't know which post to add this on, but I'll add it here. I really appreciate the amount of effort put into this review; starting each game with it's own cartridge (which ik is part of the game itself but it's a nice touch), the conspiracy music every time you or piph talk about outlandish theories, each game having it's own soundtrack in the background (I think?), the foley tinfoil that you made for a running bit. Not to mention the intro and the ad for big dunkies?! It's very high effort, and I think it shows the level of care you put into your work (part of the reason i'm subscribed to your patreon). You just don't see it an awful lot anymore, which is why I wanted to point it out. Thank You

Honestly my biggest takeaway from this really compelling and in depth review is that ‘Gregory Milk’ is a phenomenal name for a fictional character

Good video.

I think Quibble race relies a lot of if your playing with other people and how attached you get to the Quibbles. If your playing alone just to experience and complete the game it’s the most boring thing imaginable but if your playing with your buds and decide to get hyper competitive and serious, I could see it being kinda fun.
