Update will be out by the end of the week
🕑 Added 2025-01-07 20:49:29 +0000 UTCI apologize for the long wait. I planned to release the update at the beginning of the week, but I've fallen sick.
You can see the update in action in Dr Mod's latest video that I linked here in the post.
The update will include a complete rework of three cameras that I worked on for the latest three months:
On Foot First Person Camera
Vehicles First Person Camera (for all vehicles)
Vehicles Chase Camera (for all vehicles)
The motorcycle, plane, and helicopter FP cameras are currently bugged since they all use the main Vehicle First Person Camera code, so I now have to apply tweaks to them one by one. I will release another update this month that will fix all of them, pinky promise.
FiveM Server AND Client Updates
A client version of ViewPointV is on the way. It will be an ASI plugin written in C++. It will share the functionality of the SP version. Currently no ETA, as I am focused on the server version.
You will only be able to use it on servers that allow ScriptHook.
Regarding the LUA resource for servers, hopefully I will release it next month.
The initial release version will not include a menu to configure the mod, and will only have the cameras themselvs with their default settings enabled. I want to make sure everything works first, and then using your feedback we will build a FiveM specific version of the menu together. I am still not sure which library to use for the menu, as I want the mod to be as lightweight and standalone as possible, without being tied to any frameworks so that everybody will be able to use it.
