December 29th Update
🕑 Added 2023-12-29 13:55:36 +0000 UTCMake sure you install the .oiv included in the archive, it will replace the default game's font. I use it for the Axon Overlay, but it also makes the menus look cleaner.
Don't worry, this won't replace any of your mods, unless you installed a custom font.
New stuff
-New Vehicle Camera: DashCam
The camera is attached new the rear view mirror by default, you can move it however you like. Offsets are saved automatically when you change them (per vehicle).
You can currently configure:
Globally
- FOV
- Toggle Camera Effect (vignette and noise)
- Toggle Axon Overlay
Per vehicle
- Offset X
- Offset Y
- Offset Z
-New On Foot Camera: Weapon GoPro (currently very buggy)
Changes
General:
- Fixed some incorrect menu descriptions and minor tweaks
Shoulder Camera:
- Renamed to "Shoulder Camera" from "Shoulder GoPro"
- Added the ability to change the position of the camera
- Added the ability to change FOV
- Added ability to toggle Axon Bodycam Overlay
Third Person Camera:
- Reticle is now hidden when not aiming
Head Camera:
- Renamed to "Head Camera" from "Head GoPro"
- Improved position and fixation, the camera now uses the position and rotation of the FACIAL_facialRoot bone to determine it's own, which I found makes it more synced with the head animations
- Added the ability to change FOV
- Added ability to toggle Axon Bodycam Overlay
On Foot First Person Camera:
- Fixed more instances of weird player shaking/floating while moving sideways/diagonally on non flat surfaces
- Fixed player levitating when reloading and sprinting
- Brought back Cinematic On Aim
- Added ability to toggle Axon Bodycam Overlay
- Slight improvement to bullet aligment (not final)
- Minor tweaks to camera positions for all weapons
In Vehicle First Person Camera:
- Fixed props not auto hiding in Vehicle First Person Camera
In Vehicle Chase Camera:
- Made offsets sliders more precise

Make sure you only have one .dll file in your scripts folder ViewPointV.dll or if you use the nightly build of scripthook ViewPointV-nightly.dll. If you don't know what nightly build is, you have regular SHDNV.

Good! You are the BEST DEV!! Hotfix is NICE WORKING THX RusLan :)
Ruslan Libin
Thank you very much! I just released a hotfix that should eliminate the crashes. Can you please rephrase your last sentence?
Heiness
THX! GOOD WORK!!! RusLanParty! :-) I'm having the same problem with my friend in the comments above. But when I used it except for that problem Overall, I felt that it was definitely more advanced than the last version. I like the dash cam when I drive I used to like the first-person camera, but it wasn't easy to aim because the Aim wasn't a little soft However, this version made aiming relatively much easier even in the first-person camera mode. in praise of the developer's hard work

Can you show me the error message? Send me a PM on Discord, we'll solve it together :)

Okay so I do have the overlay in the folder - and this time when I booted it up everything seemed alright (camera fov was correct, aiming worked, overlay was present), but then I got a call on the in game phone, and thats when the cameras crashed. I suddenly couldn't turn the camera from whatever position I was looking when I answered the phone, so I pressed V, and the cameras reverted to default. I'll see if I can capture this on video for ya later today if that helps.
Ruslan Libin
Can you see if you have a folder named "Overlay" in your "ViewPointV" folder?
BYSON
Armed or unarmed it seems to occur. I did a re-install and it managed to work for a second. But it looks like it crashes whenever I edit the toggled cameras on or off and then move through all the cameras with "V". The Axon Overlay does not seem to work for me either. And thank you for the quick response! This mod is amazing and I'm so excited to see where it goes :)
Ruslan Libin
It happens when you are unarmed, right? Can you try equiping a weapon and then restarting the script? I will patch this up in a couple hours of course, thank you for reporting!

Just tried this out and it doesn't seem to be working for me - notifications pop up when I boot in but once I cycle through the cameras, the mod shuts off and cameras revert to default. Seems to happen after I switch to the "First Person Cam", which is wayyy zoomed in on my screen
