Khara: Baroness of the Boneyard - Preview
🕑 Added 2021-06-16 13:36:43 +0000 UTCKhara Eldris, Baroness of the Boneyard, accompanied by her guardian, Thorne The Butcher, is now complete! I can finally sleep. This was a lot of work but I enjoyed having a bit of variety in being able to work on a male character for a change (muscles are fun).
For those who wanted it, Thorne also has a NSFW option.
I have also tried a different approach for the NSFW version of Khara as well. Instead of two full torsos (SFW and NSFW), there is just the NSFW torso but the draped cloth sections are separate and keyed to allow them to be added or removed from the model at your leisure without needing to glue them down. Whether this actually works as intended remains to be seen, so my test prints will be underway soon to make sure it works. If it doesn't then I'll have to go back to my previous method.
Either way I'll make sure it's obvious in the full release preview coming soon.

In concept, the idea of separate pieces is great. Hopefully it works. I had some troubles with the cape on Bonnie where it has so many holes and it's so thin. I've broken it in multiple places and glued it back together. I was hoping for less capes and drapery. I bought some Siraya Tech resin to add to regular resin to make things stronger and also it's clear blue so I planned on doing the water base of Xiu with it. Fingers crossed.

Also think this is a cool approach if it works. But why shouldn't it. In any case this does look outstanding. Looking forward to printing it.
