The Sally scene was easy to misunderstand and there was a lot of confusion about what happened when it first aired. However, the things you hear the guy saying outside of the door is the exact same dialog the guy said when Sally stabbed him, indicating this is all in her mind. Her first time without Barry in 8 years has caused her to regress and triggered her PTSD. She trashed the house in some kind of fugue state.
