🕑 Added 2022-10-10 18:00:06 +0000 UTCHey!
Here's the latest video tutorial covering my approach starting from a black and white sketch done in Krita and finishing the oil look in Photoshop. If you'd like to check out the previous video where I show a digital pencil look, check this one out here from August!
The brushes used in this video are attached to this post!
Hope you're all doing well!

Hey Dave, could you explain or maybe show (?) how zoomed in you are when you paint in your physical space? It’s hard for me to judge/imagine how big the actual image is compared to where you are, or how big the painting is on your cintiq in a real setting. I work on my iPad 12.9 and ‘zoomed out’ for my little screen is pretty tiny, I feel like I can’t even tell what I’m doing if I’m zoomed out to the point you are in your videos. I suspect it’s because your screen is way bigger than mine, but I’m not sure really. Idk….sorry if this makes zero sense….hopefully you can decipher this garble. Thanks for all of the posts and videos though, I really appreciate everything you and Kim do and I learn so much every day.
