Hope you're well! Here's somethin I've been playing with a bit here and there - basically I painted up 4 random characters to try different types of executions with the rendering process - I'm pretty happy with most of em, I think a mixture of render in Krita followed by further grayscale render in Photoshop with mixer brushes and then a pass changing brightness to opacity in CSP and then some more rendering in Photoshop with color fills beneath the grayscale renders.
Sorry to ramble! That's what this was about though, trying that same step by step with varying degrees of finishes at each stage!

Awesome stuff, Dave! I think a lot of professional artists would be tempted to stick with the one process that works for them. It's always so interesting to see how you constantly try new approaches and refine the steps of working up an image. Sometimes I forget that this Patreon is more than just a pigpen/mudpit/poop yard. It's also an incredibly unsanitary place of learning.
